- So it is a shameless clone which has however benefited from some contributions:
- a removable wire cutter (with a set of additional pads & screws),
- a lanyard ring instead of the integrated plastic device on the NXT (at the cost of a reduction in the thickness of the awl),
- a thermoformed sheath with press stud.
A little heavier than the NXT, the scissors are less well designed.
In the jungle of Chinese multi-tools, only ROXON offers original and innovative products ...
Alors il s'agit d'un clone éhonté qui a cependant bénéficié de quelques apports :
- un coupe-câble amovible (avec un jeu de plaquettes supplémentaires et des vis),
- un anneau de cordon à la place du dispositif en plastique intégré sur le NXT (au prix d'une diminution d'épaisseur du poinçon),
- un étui thermorformé avec bouton pression.
Un peu plus lourd que le NXT, les ciseaux sont moins bien conçus.

I find it amazing that gerber (owned by the scissors and gardening tool company FISKARS - known around the world for their quality) can’t make a decent pair of scissors on their multitools to save their lives (with the exception of the “diesel” model which has really good scissors). I used to edc a gerber suspension nxt at work every day; that only lasted a month as the scissors sucked, the awl got dull and blunt after two uses on hard wood, and the tools started to become loose and flop around.
It’s a very interesting hobby when the companies that have been around for a long time ie. gerber, Leatherman, sog, and others keep rising in price but falling in quality while newer companies like bibury, nextool, daicamping, and others make clones or innovate with new features while keeping costs way down.
The only company I’ve seen stay above the mess of cost versus quality seems to be victorinox which is expensive but has been consistent in terms of cost for a while and considering their quality line of “Swisstool” and “spirit” models; you only need to buy them once to have them last a lifetime.
Ihave many gerbers, many with scissors and they are all good. The only people complaining about files and scissors on gerbers are people on internet working for victornox and leatherman
@@freddykruger3320 your response is more than a little over the top as I have worked at a hardware store for over a decade and have used a multitool multiple times each and every day and I can tell you that is NOT THE CASE WITH ME. I have owned many many multitools and I can tell you each company may have good and bad models and copies BUT the golden rule in the world of all things bought and sold is “you get what you pay for” ie. I pay more for a Leatherman or Victorinox and I get much better quality; however in the last five years I’ve noticed Leatherman prices skyrocketing without matching improvements which I believe results in other companies taking more of their market share. The multitool market has a lot of competition but your blanket statement about myself and others being shills for the expensive companies is crap; a bit of advice - think before you type.
Is this multitools worth buying? I didn't decide yet to buy it... Normaly, in this size multitools, i prefer to have a wood saw instead of scisors (if have both is better). There are a lot of good and bad revews on the internet about this tool. The combo blade is not very appealing to me... May i know what you think of it?
The price being moderate, I believe that the DL3 is worth buying (be careful, as always with Chinese products, this model is available under different brands).

Nah, no gerber warranty, Poorer heat treatment, sheath is worthless, not ballistic nylon or leather. What is the point of cloning a 30 dollar multitool?
