Be the first to access new Excel features on the BETA Channel go to FILE > ACCOUNT > MICROSOFT 365 INSIDER and Check the "Sign me up for early access to new releasese of Micrsoft 365 Apps"
Thanks@@SkillUpAndExcel . But due to company policies I cannot subscribe to the beta channel. That's the reason I'm asking about versions in the regular channel.
Eagle eye here! Caught that "TRUE" doesn't need those quotes. Thanks for the lesson, Ms. Samina! Great point about COUNTIF! Just a heads-up, TRUE shines without the quotes too.
First time here. I didn’t know any of these features were available! I just kept saying “You’ve got to be kidding”. I could have used these features a while ago. Great presentation. Well done. Thank you!
Very good to know about Excel you have very clearly speech and explaination and. What about Miro soft word ,have you can also teach it oh not, course I need it
Hello Samina, thank you for your post. Unrelated Excel question, if I may? I recently renewed my office 360 while travelling in Europe. Unfortunately, I’ve ended up with the European format where decimal points and commas are reversed. I’ve tried changing my region and selecting American English on my profile. But the problem persists. All my existing files are converted to EU format. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
To reverse the EU format number back to the original format after an Office 365 update, you can follow these steps: Open Excel and go to File > Options. In the Excel Options dialog, select Advanced from the sidebar. Under the Editing options section, uncheck Use system separators. You can then specify the separators you want to use. For the decimal separator, use a dot (.), and for the thousands separator, use a comma (,) or space, depending on your preference. This should allow you to work with numbers in the format you’re accustomed to. If you need the changes to apply to all future workbooks, you might need to adjust your system’s regional settings to match your preferred number format. Let me know if that helps!
The new checkbox feature in Excel is currently available to a portion of the Beta channel of Microsoft 365. The exact date for the wider rollout to all countries and users has not been specified by Microsoft. However, it’s expected to be released in stages following the Beta testing. For the most current updates, you can keep an eye on the official Microsoft 365 roadmap or join the Microsoft 365 Insider program to get early access to new features.. let me know once you have it!
How do you get your checkbox to work like that, I can't get mine to do that. I have to click where I want mine to be and adjust it to center it on the spot. The way you have it, you just check on it and it already centers in the middle. I want mine to work how yours is. Can you explain to be how you do it?
@omgugn1639 these checkboxes are still being rolled out to different regions and are only available on the Beta Version. If you wish to get the beta version go to your Excel sheet, click on File>Options> and on the right side side of the screen you will see your version on Microsoft as well as an option to get access to the Beta version. Hope that helps.
Time 0:33. PLEASE say what keys on keyboard you pressed to get the Mon to Sunday, that way we keep learning new stuff from your informative Videos or add Text to that Time on Screen Thanks

Thanks, i did not know about the table of contents feature, that's going to be very useful for me. I'm going to see how it works with hidden tabs.
Nice and valuable content. But please make sure that you frequently zoom in, at least on important formula, for easy viewing on mobile devices.
Thank you for your feedback and will get that zoom in!

Could you please mention in what version of Office 365 these new futures are available. Thanks
@35acacia I’m currently using Excel Beta Version 2402
Where did you get this check box in the Insert Menu? I have checked with a few versions of MS Excel but no existence.
You have to activate Beta Version of Excel from File>Account>Microsoft 365 Insider that allows the functionality
Hi, thank you for sharing the tricks. sorry to ask this ,your last name has any relation with any regoin or province or it has any other meaning .
waht version and build should i have, to experince these new features?
Ideally Excel 365 and Version 2402 that could be available on the Beta Channel in your particular region.
I can’t find the new checkbox feature on my excel. How do I get it to appear?
Its still in a trial version so you should subscribe to that through account settings … not rolled out to public yet
@@MGA19a thank you for the reply.

Counitfs takes true as string and not boolean value? Huh interesting 2:53
It works either way Boolean or as a string..
When is the new check boxes due to be released? Domain wide policy currently prevents beta versions.

I don't use Developer for checkboxes, there is a function in Insert.

@erictsang789 as of April 2024 the feature is still being tested and only available via the Beta channel.

Hi Samina

sorted by unit price; not
I don't see checkbox in my Excel 365. Also your whisper is hard to hear.
Its in the bèta version
The audio is perfectly clear, check your device.
Yes. @stephanedwards is correct. I had no issues hearing anything she said. The ironic thing here is that I’m hard of hearing. 😅
She could me more clear pronocing. Monotone voice
But content is v good, concise, straight to the point
Features shown on this video are beta. Not available to most people.
The teaching class is too fast, it’s like trying to grab a coffee in the airport when you’re running late
Audio recording is lousy. I have no option but to stop watching yout video. Next time please you watch properly before uploading your new videos.
