While the Anderson movies absolutely butchered the Resident Evil lore in every sense of the word, I have to admit that the films are guilty pleasure and there are things about them that I love.
The movies had actors that looked so much like the characters Sienna looked soooo much like Jill and Ali looked so much like Claire. I wish they did more with them
The ressemblance stops with female actors then, because taking the prison break Guy for Chris was a bad idea and i dont know the Guy that played Leon but even with the movie calling him Leon it took me 3 years to understand that this Guy was supposed to be THE Leon from the games, he just looks so much like a random background character
Not necessarily. I'd say they could've benefitted from still making Alice the main focus of the movies and not tie it with the games at all. Just imagine that what happenes in the movies is parallel to the games events and makes perfect sense in lore without ruining the game characters and adding to the lore. That would've been so much better.

Yes, you cant just stand there with that type of weapon moving around your vicinity and why those weapons in their training involves feet work which is practiced in form to be formless later. Love them types of tools and carry that particular one on me all the time. Not the chain linked, the other one with iron ball and shank hook. One move when chain whips back is the turn around about face around the neck of next extension or whip out. I like to end up final motion of grappling around neck for take down, serious follow up motion . Many cool moves as well, you just dont sit there throwing out that whip.
