This is an excellent bike for the money. I bought one in it's previous BTwin incarnation, after an expensive road bike I had was stolen, and I am delighted with it. The tyres are very heavy (800grams per tyre), and I saved 1kg in weight immediately by fitting some 25mm road tyres. The gears are limited, but I am now at an age where I can't push big gears any more, so that is no problem. I have seen complaints about the shifter, but I think they are unjustified. It is no worse than using the old down tube shifters, is very precise, and much quicker in action than 'brifters', and I now actually prefer this one. The drive train snobs turn their nose up at the Tourney rear mech. but it's actually fine - I have done over 6,000 km and it has never put a foot wrong, not even needing to be re-indexed. It rides and handles very well, no doubt due to the excellent frame. Thoroughly recommended to anyone on a budget.
I've got one, had mine since 2018. It's a brilliant machine for the price. I've replaced the handlebar and handlebar stem for a more suitable size for me. The tyres and gear shifter too but they wore out.
I'm really wanting to buy a road bike because I'm a runner but I've been battling chronic pain for a few years now and I'm not being able to get back to it. I want a bike that will allow me to log a lot of kilometers on the road. My budget is limited and I saw this bike on Decathlon. Do you say it handles well long rides (over 80-100+ km)? And how would it work to use it on a trainer at home? Would it be easy to set up? I'm a complete beginner on bikes, sorry if I'm being ignorant. Great video by the way, thanks! 🙏🏻
I did a sportive of 100 miles on it and it was superb it’s comfortable because it has quite a relaxed riding position it’s less aggressive than some road bikes, you might want to change the saddle to something a bit more comfortable but as you progress through cycling you can customise the bike to your own needs I really feel that for the money it can’t be beaten I ride it in preference to my much more expensive carbon fibre road bike as for the indoor trainer I have never done that but I imagine it is no different to any other bike, hope this helps Dan

Could you tell me size of the frame used in the video and your height? It would help me decide. Thank you!
Medium frame and I am 5ft 10 👍
