I think that failure in English conversation courses is because of anxiety or stuttering.. I'm afraid of electricity, snakes, tarantulas, centipedes and scorpions that's why I hate tropical, desert and equatorial climates. On the other hand I have an Islamophobia and Syriaphobia for being living in a troubled regioin like the Middle East and Arab World.
My fear is when I meet a native english person and have to talk with he/she. Not because I'm not understand what are they trying to say, but it because what I must to say it back to them. I mean like my pronunciation is right or not, and my word is clear or not to them when I say something. It make me nervous. 😫
