Bought these exact foils and foil gel.
Followed the instructions to the T but could not get the foils to adhere. Used almost a whole roll of foil trying. Gave up in the end.
What am I doing wrong?

Could you tell me what lamp you're using?
Also are you applying the foil gel thin?
Did it feel sticky/tacky after curing? Of was the foil more sliding on the nail? ♥️
@@Kiki.London I am using a Mylee curing lamp. Did put a thin coat of the gel and put the foil the correct way up. Cured for 30 seconds as stated on the instructions. The gel felt sticky but not very sticky. The foil did not adhere at all.Also tried curing for 60 seconds but got nada 😥
May I add for anyone reading the comments that I know it must be me and not the products at fault.
Have also purchased a couple of kiki polishes on your recommendation and love them. X
@Sambatastic hey! Hmm that's very strange, as you're using a different lamp you might need to try playing around with the curing time however maybe instead of 60 try 35, and then 40 or 45, and see if that helps.. also it can just be hard cracking the hang of foils, metallics can be the easiest. You might need to rub a little longer, sometimes a press and pull motion also works better.
Also check you haven't applied it too thin ♥️ let me know how you get on and I can help further xx

Even bought a different foil gel but no luck.
Have cracked it at last. Followed the instructions exactly except I removed the tacky layer after curing the gel. Worked a treat. 100% success .

I am having a terrible time trying to get all the foils to work! I love the holo and the flowers...but they wont transfer well at all! What a mess. I tried 8 times today and just gave up. I am following your video..but it isnt working.
Hey! Sorry to hear your're having trouble.. I'll help best I can!.. First of all are they transferring a little or not at all?
Secondly are you using the Kiki London lamp? If not you may need to adjust the cure times, I would test by curing for a extra 10 seconds and then retrying.
Some common errors/problems are:
- Applying the foil gel too thickly (only a thin coat is needed)
- Insufficient or over curing the product (the foil gel should cure with a highly tacky finish in 30 seconds if you're using a Kiki London Led Lamp)
- Applying the foils by the wrong side

It can take a bit of practice, but worth it once you get the hang of it! x
