I love Gunfire. Remnant 2 was easily one of the best games I played recently. No microtransactons, reasonable price for great dlcs, and just great fun. Thats how companies should care for their player base and their product
Remnant 2 was the biggest surprise for me. I wasn't into souls like (difficult mobs, super tough boss fights, bonfire heals but respawn mobs), and I didn't quite like the world setting. But after I was convinced to give it a try, it turned out to be a game I wished I had pre-purchased and I freaking loved it. Can't wait to plat this DLC and I can't wait for Remnant 3 or whatever Gunfire is cooking.
Bro this game is one of the best games I have played in years. And this last dlc/update pretty much improves and fixes every single issue I had with the game. Beyond hyped for this. Love Gunfire so excited for their next project.

I really love this. i'm a HUGE Remnant fan, maxed my stuff on Remnant 1 and did the same for Remnant 2 up untill the last expansion, my PC tool [World analyzer] stopped working for the last DLC that came out, so it was a pain to play through and see what I was missing.. now with this new boss rush mode and a chance to get almost everything not campaign related is AMAZING!
Absolutely love the devs for doing something most other companies arnt really doing anymore, trying something new and seeing how the gamers react to changes.
Not to mention the value! Gunfire consistently pumps out good, fun, quality stuff that really shows how much they listen to their community... And at super reasonable prices! No fomo, no cash grabs, no "AAAA" bullshit. Just a good game that makes no promises and always overdelivers
Yesss. They're adding an item filter system. I literally asked for that, and they actually listened and put it in the game. That will make build crafting soo much quicker. The paragon system sounds great too. This game is already awesome and just got even better

Boss Rush mode seems alot cooler then the initial reveal trailer, having a chance to getting RINGS you dont OWN yet? Thats amazing.. A Loot filter - OMG FINALLY New progression system, class, world/story. Damn.. I am exited for the future of this franchise. I hope this is not the last like they said before with Remnant 1. Gunfire games deserves ALL of the praise and love, they are one of the best developers in years imo. And these "true DLC/Expansions" are priced SO fair & cheap that people should not even think about if they should buy it, its crazy good. [FUCK €25 skins in games]
I think it's absolutely criminal that this game didn't get nominated for any awards. This game is high slept on and is a really good game and challenging game. It deserves a lot more praise.
Bro, I’ve got 2300 hours in game. I definitely can’t wait. Hopefully having every item in game causes Boss Rush to only drop DLC items. That way we won’t have to reroll like crazy 😂

Thanks for showcasing ‘Dark Horizon’ before its release! After beating ‘Shadow of the Erdtree’, no other games were giving me the same vibes. But jumping back into Remnant 2 recently’s been making me feel those ‘This is 1 of the best games I’ve ever played' moments again. My fav archetype’s the Engineer, so I’m stoked for the new Warden class. Yaesha’s hands down my favorite world, & I prefer Lossom’s enchanting Fae over its Dran. I think the new overworld for Ne’rud is going to be a huge bonus for exploration! Excited for boss-rush mode too-boss battles are key in my fav games, & Remnant 2 nails them with how unique & memorable they feel. The new filtering gear option’s brilliant-looking through my ring collection as a returning player has been a challenge, LoL. +, the new fragment/prism system seems much more approachable as well Once again, thanks for another top-notch video, Fextra!

The zones were neat, filled with more boss fights than most other games, & it let me continue optimizing my character (in an enjoyable way). Sadly it had less narrative drive than the base game. But I believe it still delivered. +, I loved following Fextra's progression guide for the zones, all the unexpected moments, & defeating its bosses was satisfying
Remnant 2 is the game that I will always remember, the music, the vibe and its worlds, and playing with my besties, all made it special for me, it is one of the best in its genre, maybe the best of its own, souls like with Guns, whole last year summer I was playing it and it is stunning still to play in the new DLC - 9.99 USD is nothing for the content we get

Great overview. The Boss Rush mode looks incredible. Coming from a Destiny background, its really fun to hear a studio talk freely about experimenting with things. It seemingly didn't cross their minds that, on the face of things, they are providing way more game in this DLC as they did with the first two and not looking to charge more. Just looking to provide some more, some different and hopefully some better all at once. I'm late to the Remnant franchise but hugely impressed so far with GFG.
Holy crap, I'm so stoked for this update!! End game character progression is something I've been desperately needing and the rewards for the boss rush mode are going to be super convenient. On top of all that, the Warden looks like it's going to be super fun to play. I can't wait to see what Gunfire Games comes out with next.
This was my 2023 GOTY. nearly 200 hours on campaign and the dlc's and its great Gunfire Games has basically gone all out in the final DLC with survival mode on roids etc.. absolutely one of my favourite games in the past 5 years. Also the original remnant is brilliant .. this is the reason i am here. Anyone should try R1 before this.. or at some point. Honestly if they aren't already planning a no 3 ... i'd be gobsmacked..
I was literally hoping for an update that adds item/equipment filtering and they're aready on it. This dlc looks so good. Happy they're adding more ways to gain power for our characters too 🔥

Yeah, totally glad I got the Ultimate Edition of this game at launch. Been shuffling through stuff but it's still something I have installed on my PC and I never had a single thought to uninstall to make room for something else. Need to boot it up and dust off those cobwebs now.
I’m just hoping they can keep improving performance. Back before they started to release the second dlc I was actually able to run 60 fps until large amounts of mobs started popping in.
The vertical design of the dlc is really interesting, but it completely outshines the rest of the game. Getting the dlc in your campaign will always be more fun than the base game nerudian zones, so I hope it doesnt make them unwanted.
I don’t know how I feel about the class tbh. I had hope they would revamp some of the older less utilized classes like explorer. I’m definitely excited to create new builds and find more loot.

I want them to add a higher difficulty once you've gotten everything Apocalypse becomes rather easy and with the addition to this prism system, it seems like it'll become even more so once you've leveled it

Oh thank God I heard the boss rush news and was pissed because I was hoping for survival as I loved it in the first remnant. To find out it's a mix of that AND a rogue like? Now I'm hyped.

The problem with the glider is that if looks like a useless mechanic that was just added for an extra check mark on the list. It feels like it’s an excuse for just making the world bigger but not actually that much more denser or even interesting. I seriously hope I’m wrong and I eat my words.

Remnant 2 is really good. However it left me wanting in comparison to the first. Hopefully this update is enough to get me hooked back in for a while. I usually hop back on, beat the current dlc and run it a few times to get all the stuff, and then within a week or two I don’t touch it anymore. It just doesn’t have the same feel as from the ashes for me. I’m not sure how or why. As there is clearly more content available within the second game. Strange.
Sadly Dark Horizon is the final DLC for Remnant 2 . So no Labyrinth or Root Earth dlc will be added to the game. Hopefully that means Remnant 3 is in development
Other than feeding fragments to your prisms for xp to level them up, do they get xp for just playing? I'm just trying to understand exactly what is going on and that I'm doing it efficiently.

I'm sorry, how is one starting the Boss Rush Mode? Do you select a single fresh archetype and gear up as you progress? Or are you simply loading up your already maxed out End Game ready characters? I really love this game but I get a lot of stuttering on the Ps5. Switched between performance mode, balanced and quality but the stuttering keeps happening from time to time.

No new difficulty is a but disappointing tho, my tank medic build has plowed thru apocalypse with little difficulty in the dlcs + main game and I don’t see a need to change it up or improve it since I will still be curbstomping things in boss rush most likely!

I got distracted with some other games, came back to this after a year and I'm loving it! So good
The filter and ui update is huge! No more having to look through each ring to see the effects until you find the one you need.
I just use fextra life filter. Though ingame filter is massive its far too late for me as i know the main rings i use by heart almost.

Other than feeding fragments to your prisms for xp to level them up, do they get xp for just playing? I'm just trying to understand exactly what is going on and that I'm doing it efficiently.
I really loved all the dlc from gunfire the new update seem insane then prism gonna be fun to work with I will appreciate a video on launch to see the final skill you can get from them though shame I already have the deluxe editions for remnant 2 I give them more money they earn it for this amazing game the awakened king still my favorite story though 😊
I'm sorry, how is one starting the Boss Rush Mode? Do you select a single fresh archetype and gear up as you progress? Or are you simply loading up your already maxed out End Game ready characters? (which already melt Apoch without the new prism system) Think you see where I'm going with this, just wanted clarification, thanks!

I really love this game but I get a lot of stuttering on the Ps5. Switched between performance mode, balanced and quality but the stuttering keeps happening from time to time.

No new difficulty is a but disappointing tho, my tank medic build has plowed thru apocalypse with little difficulty in the dlcs + main game and I don’t see a need to change it up or improve it since I will still be curbstomping things in boss rush most likely!
