Thank you so much for such an informative and educational session. Dr Raj is fantastic and I love his upbeat style. I have pulmonary sarcoidosis (in remission) and sarcoid in my eyes. I live in New Zealand and must say I am well looked after currently with yearly checkups with my pulmonary specialist (although he doesn’t seem to know or share anything other than the basics) and two monthly checkups with Uveitis specialists etc. I was diagnosed via a bronchioscopy in 2020 and put on prednisone for a year. I completely agree with Dr Raj diet exercise and a healthy lifestyle is key to staying in remission. Thanks to Life and Breath Foundation I don’t feel so alone with this illness and have learnt so much that helps me stay positive. I found magnesium really helped me. Keep up the great work I’m sure many of us around the world appreciate your dedication to helping us with what can be a very difficult disease.

For a change I have to admit , I like this pulmonologist Dr Raj. First & foremost I like his expertise , second to his apparent sarcoid & pulmonary expertise, would be his personality and sense of humor, which I’ll tell you , is hard to find. I would love to see or have this doctor as my pulmonologist. Too bad he’s not on the east coast near NJ/NYC area. I will say , I did consult back in 2016 with Dr Morganthau in NYC. I’ve had pulmonary sarcoid since 2004, thankfully I’m not on prednisone , which can do more havoc on the body/organs , than the sarcoidosis itself. I like Dr Raj’s demeanor and his seemingly prudent and conservative approach on whether to even treat those of us with sarcoid. He admits that sarcoid can mimic several other conditions/diseases, as most of us proactive sarcoid patients already know. That’s why I think a Dr’s choice of therapy for sarcoid becomes a paramount decision by any specialist the sarcoid patient might see. Bottom line, Drs. need to rule OUT multiple symptoms a sarcoid patient might present with “BEFORE” initiating ANY of these treatments mentioned in this webinar. Would hope to see this particular Dr do another webinar , preferably ,an interactive zoom with Audio/Video so patients can asks him questions directly.

I need help. I was just diagnosed and none of my Dr's seem to know much about it. So far they have found it in my lungs eyes and mouth. My teeth are literally grumbling out of my mouth for the last 6 months but I had to quit my job so I don't have the money to get them pulled and put new teeth in. I cannot find a way to make my insurance pay to help me since it is due to my sarcoidosis. What should I do?
