The Terraplane...... The Legend. Nothing compares. Nothing. Did I say nothing, yet? Mystery Ranch, the new legend. I have two of their packs Every bit as good as the old ones. MR suspension systems beat Gregory, Mountainsmith, and Osprey, IMHO.

Compagnies like Osprey turned away from zippers because they're hard to repair in the wilderness. Those packs are the opposite and I clearly won't take one in a multi-day hike. Way to fragile.

Thanks for watching. We're confident Mystery Ranch aren't skimping on cheap zippers. And while zippers are a potential failure point, take a closer look at the design, which is meant to reduce those failures to a minimum (they're not rounding sharp corners, not taking on too much stress).
