You can still cry without eyes. Hell, from what i know tears might be able to come out still if the tear ducts are intact. Considering she's a robot ment to entertain children tho I'd imagine she wouldn't have any.
Maybe the eyes and the tear ducts are separate? Like, her eyes are gone but the ducts are still there and functioning. Realistically it’s most likely just crying noises, as they probably wouldn’t build a performance animatronic with the ability to cry actual tears, but that’s still my best theory. It could also be that when her eyes got ripped out, a bunch of tubes and stuff got severed and started leaking (what are they leaking? Who knows, maybe coolant or something). roxy and freddy are the most three-dimensional characters in the game. monty is just mad all the time, chica basially just chases you around the whole game, and gregory... i dont know what i think about gregory. Freddy acknowledges what his friends are doing is wrong, and despite that and actively plotting against their cause, still genuinly cares for them and their safety. The fact that he can fight against his friend yet still remain level headed on his relationship with each character shows how strong and caring he is. Roxy puts up a brave front of being confident and intimidating, but she breaks herself apart the second shes left alone. honestly, excluding her sacrifice of sight being greater than her friends' losses, i think this is what makes it easier to empathize with roxy than the others. she just feel more human.

It just seems like these animatronics are just the most advanced ones we have seen yet in the franchise.

roxy and freddy are the most three-dimensional characters in the game. monty is just mad all the time, chica basially just chases you around the whole game, and gregory... i dont know what i think about gregory. Freddy acknowledges what his friends are doing is wrong, and despite that and actively plotting against their cause, still genuinly cares for them and their safety. The fact that he can fight against his friend yet still remain level headed on his relationship with each character shows how strong and caring he is. Roxy puts up a brave front of being confident and intimidating, but she breaks herself apart the second shes left alone. honestly, excluding her sacrifice of sight being greater than her friends' losses, i think this is what makes it easier to empathize with roxy than the others. she just feel more human.

Ever since Fnaf 3 there's really hasn't been animatronics with Dead children in them were Circus/Scrap Baby, the puppet/Lefty, Golden Freddy and possibly molten Freddy. that were left and three out of the four of them got burn in pizzeria simulator. It just seems like these animatronics are just the most advanced ones we have seen yet in the franchise.

The technology in FNAF seems to just get more and more impossibly advanced every iteration.
