Dr Kate scored 💯% I learnt the following: *Remove the grafting tape from the seedlings 2-3 months after the seedling has been successfully planted. Failure to do so will choke and eventually kill the grated Wambugu stem. *Do not allow branches or leaves of the stock to grow. It will kill the grafted Wambugu stem. Therefore, prune every growth below the grafting point. *Do not allow young seedlings to grow flowers too early. Pruning the flowers allows healthy growth of branches so you can have more apples at maturity. *Water regularly without waterlogging the plants. *Use mulching to reduce evaporation and frequency of watering. *Do not intercrop Wambugu Apples with maize. The pollen from the maize will corrupt the flowers of the apple and cause the poliination to fail and flowers to eventually abort.
Ms Kate , I am seeing a long pipe where you planted your apples 🍎. is it for watering. Is clay land good for apple growth. Did dig sunk bore hole in your farm. You don't respond to people.

I obtained an import permit from the Jamaican Government for 10 seedlings - but I was told via your WhatsApp that I have to order a minimum of 500 seedlings. That's disappointing - I was really looking forward to growing your apples in my garden. No worries - Keep up the good work - I appreciate what you are doing.
Not 500 but 50 seedlings. 500 is for taking a flight to Jamaica n I talked about in another video coz it's not economical to fly to any country with only 10 seedlings. But shipping thro courier is ok but u pay almost same price as when sending the 50 seedlings
Wish I could get some Scion-wood here in Jamaica. I have so much seedling Rootstocks (300) ready for Grafting wish i could get a few Wambugu Apples scion.
@@mahesiibra9697 Glad to know about that. I recently got seedlings and i want to link up with people experienced in growing Wambugu apple here in Uganda.
Great information and extremely valuable at 99.9%. Today i have ordered a few trees of apples to try in vihiga county. I am totally encouraged. Thank you and excellent job done💯💯
Hi cate.i have a seedling from your farm in lakipia.it more than 2 years old.no fruits.have tried everything.the leaves are drying at the tips.any advice?
You are doing a excellent job, You are hard working Sister educating the farmers in a broad way this is very interesting, Great job may the Lord continue to used you in a mighty way through out the world ❤❤❤ May the blessings of God continue to run after you and your family.❤❤❤❤
Kate..Kate...Kate...my inspiration - I am reaching out to my fellow Jamaican subscribers who have successfully imported plants - I am having a hard time getting direction from the Jamaican Government regarding the process to get the plants safely into Jamaica...Please help...I am grateful for your help..🙏
Fantastic in Barbados it's stress importing fruit trees too importing ornamentals aren't so much stress though. I really hope you get through with the Wambugu!
😅😂😅😅 Let me rate you @8/10 Kate. Next time put on gumboots(Farm gear), let your farm hands be consistent in removing weed and suckers on time. Thata where your 2% was lost😜. You are an amazing farmer with humongous passion in farming. Your entire family looks very healthy by the way. I am also an organic farmer.
Ambassador you have done well but you did not tell your audience the followings 1. The point of putting the tree in the ground 2.what we need to put on the holes as per measurement of manures and water 3. You did not show us from the time the plants started growing 4. The A to Z should show us a thorough and comprehensive stages to fruition. On the whole I will score you 79 % because of the above missing linkages. Finally your good 👍
Kate. Can you explain the process of manure. Many people dont know the process. They think its just putting raw cow dung or any animal waste. Please go through the process of manure from A-z and how and when to apply it. How do you apply manure. Before you plant and as the plant grows. I think the manure process needs to be explained. What about the PH of soil in collabration with manure. How do you know you have well balanced soil.
Congrats cate my rating is 99% keep up the good work. I am coming for my seedlings for Apple very soon. I have finished fencing the farm and all the holes have been dug. Comming soon.
