Definitely taking part in this one! I've read Jane Eyre and Wuthering heights as a teenager and re-read Jane Eyre past victober and absolutely fell in love with it again.

Hooray!! The more I think about it, the book I'm most excited to reread is The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
This is great. I will definitely join in for Shirley which is my last unread novel and a reread of Wuthering Heights. I read four Bronte novels in 2020 and absolutely loved The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. I look forward to seeing the discussions of the books.

I'm in ! I'll be joining on Goodreads too, but not for all the books. I already started a Brontë project last year so I re-read several novels very recently (The Professor, Wuthering Heights, Agnes Grey, The tenant of Wildfell Hall), but I'll be happy to join for the others :) I'm currently reading their letters by the way.

@@BlatantlyBookish I loved their letters (more than 300) mostly by Charlotte, but with a few from Branwell and Anne, and a note from Emily. I saw a couple of letters by their father, too. I read them in a French edition based on the one by Margaret Smith :)
Ahhhh... you made me LAUGH when you described Wuthering Heights. 😂😄 A "train wreck". Ha!! I read it like almost 20 yrs ago soooo I will be happy to reread it this year. Wow. Reread it with a new appreciation. LOVED this video.💗 This is going to be fun!

I’m just now finding this video 😱 I read Shirley last year for Victober and was taken by surprise when I ended up loving it since I had never heard of it until then. I was looking at my copy of Jane Eyre and was thinking about reading it but now after seeing this, I want to participate in this readathon. I have a lot of catching up to do 😅 so instead of Shirley I will use the next two months to catch up ☺️

This project makes me miss my literature courses! I will probably join you for a few months: it's a good way for me to read some of the Bronte books that I haven't read. 😃
Haha I can't promise literature course quality insights, but yea a big part of this project is nostalgia for the college course I took on the Brontes.
I’ll definitely be joining in. I’ve read 4 of the 7 books but many years ago so I’m keen to reread them and also to read the 3 that are new to me.

@@BlatantlyBookish I've got two of the big ones still to read - Villette and Shirley plus I haven't read Anges Grey. But I honestly can't remember what I thought of the ones I have read so it will be interesting.

I’m so sad I’ve only now watched this! It’s been on my watch later for a while now and I’ve been so behind on watching booktube videos and catching up on some of my favourite channels. I am really excited that I haven’t missed The Tenant of Wildfell Hall or Agnes Grey as I have never read them but always wanted to. Joining the goodreads group now!
Hooray!! And don't worry about missing Villette or The Professor. Starting with Agnes Grey is better in many ways actually.

You can do it! There are a whole 2 months devoted to it on purpose for this very reason lol.

Awesome! With favorite authors I can never decide if I want to read all their works in the short term to know more about them, or if I want to save them and spread them out so I still have new experiences to look forward to...either way, I’ll definitely be joining in for some of the books!
I relate to that feeling. I'm slowly making my way through Gaskell, Dickens, E.M. Forster.... the list goes on. I'm hoping that rereading the Bronte books in close succession will help me make deeper connections between the works. If it's your first time reading them though I definitely understand the desire to spread them out over a few years.

This sounds great! There's a few Bronte novels I still haven't read, including Villette so I'm making a note to order a copy tomorrow. I did read a modern loose retelling called Amy Snow by Tracy Rees that I enjoyed, so hopefully I'll enjoy the original even more!
