how did you get your printer to print the envelopes? everytime I try to print them it just gets spat out. I've tried so many different things to try and get it to print but it just spits the envelope out T__T
Hi there! Does it spit out without even trying to print anything? If so, it is most probably the paper size issue. So the actual envelope size has to match the paper size in the printer settings. I can make a detailed video on that :)
@@KariArtspace thanks so much for the reply! yeah it goes in, sits there for a second then spits it out. The flap also unfolds as it goes in so I don’t know whether to just unfold it flat but then I’m not sure if that affects dimensions. I also tried having the envelopes portrait but it always crumples and doesn’t feed neatly causing it spit out anyway 🫠🫠 any help especially if you have a Mac would be so helpful!
Hi! Oh sure, first I've created the canvas in Figma which corresponds to my envelope size (4.9 × 6.9 in), you can work in any graphic design software you like. Put whatever you want on that canvas and position it as you want it to appear on the envelope. Create a new size of the material in your printers settings if not there yet, this also has to correspond to the size of the envelope you're using. I would take 1 envelope to do a test-print and see if there's anything to be adjusted. All of this considering that you don't have very specific measurements of where the text has to go. Otherwise you should also consider the margins.
Hey! Could you list any other thicker papers you are using besides "Keaykolour Chalk" and that are working for Canon IP8750? I’m planning to print greeting cards mostly on matte papers (300 gsm or a little bit higher), so I’d love to know which ones work well for the best results for that specific printer :)
Hi there! To be honest, any photo paper designed specifically for inkjet printers worked fine for me, I used a local brand which can be found in photography store - it was super cheap and good quality, unfortunately I cannot find the name anymore :/ There're so many brand to choose from, but I heard Ilford and Hahnemühle are really good (unfortunately pricey).
I was at the wedding and i can confirm! - All stationery was minimalistic and very elegant 😊😊
Thanks to you alsoo☺️❤️

Hi again! I've just posted the video on how to print the envelopes, hopefully this helps a bit ☺️
Hello How did you print on envelopes if you dont mind me asking? What settings did you use to get the print perfectly aligned?
