Hi Jack, Before I say anything about the broadheads, I would like to say this: Thank YOU for what YOU do for the archery community. Archery has been my sanity project for the entirety of 2020. I have upgraded my bow, sights, strings, releases, rest, stabilizers, and strings. Your videos helped to guide me in my selection. I appreciate what you do in the archery community. I work on my bows at home, and there is so much value in the content you provide. Especially for the average jack, like me. Thank YOU, sir. Now, I would be very happy to take Magnus Black Hornets 125 grain 7/16 X 1 1/4 into the field next season. These heads have always caught my eye. I just do not have a shop near me that sells them. Again, Thank you.
I have been looking for a kit to start sharpening my own knives and broadheads and after watching this I think I found what I will be purchasing! Thank you for all the great information. I was thinking about trying Magnus out for next season and using the 125 grain Stingers. Thanks again for all the help!
Great video with great information! Thank you for responding to the request for a sharpening vid! You rock! I shoot the Magnus Buzzcuts and am currently using the Stay Sharp Grey Sharpening Guide. The Lansky tool looks much more consistent because of the rod and guide system. I may look at switching!
Thanks for the tutorial. I have owned a Lansky sharpening system for a year now and your explanation helped. I also just started using Magnus Stinger 100's and would like to go up to 125's but they were difficult to find due to the Covid issues. Thanks again and have a nice Christmas.
Great job explaining the sharpening process. I am looking forward to obtaining some Magnus stinger 125 grain four blade broadheads to try with my recurve bow.
I want to switch to fixed blade broadheads next year and the 125 grain stinger buzzcuts look awesome. Thanks for all the videos you do they are very informative
I am a sharp knife 'nut'. I constantly check knives...so much so, I see a knife block in someone's home. Eventually, I will pull a knife and check the edge. knives or blades do not necessary go dull, they need to be maintained "honed"; the edge has rolled. I think that needs to be clarified. There is a difference between: honing and sharpening. I absolutely luv the Lansky Sharpening System, can't wait to add this to my kit...plus, I'm a huge fan of wet sharpening. If you use Sandpaper....over 240grit. Purchase Autobody sanding paper. This was brilliant...As has become AJA form....easily explained and visuals were Great

I just switched to magnus broadheads this year. I shoot the 2 blade stingers in 150 grains with my Matthew's mission craze set at 70 lbs with a 27 inch draw length. Shot a big doe at 40 yards and the arrow cut clean through 4 ribs. She went about 50 yards. Love the heads. I would love to try out the stinger 4 blade in 150 grain.
I have been trying to find some magnus stingers in my local shops and just can't seem to be lucky enough. I also just got into sharpening as well. Great video and awesome content thanks
Picked up the same Lansky system 2 years ago and like it alot, but still picked up some tips from the video, Thanks! I'd like to try the black hornet 4 blade 100g.
After watching the Ranch Fairy, definitely looking into some Magnus broadheads. Thinking of getting the 125 grain Black Hornet Ser Razor. Thanks for the tips on sharpening broadheads! its very helpful!
Nice video. I wanted to try the Black hornet Ser Razor 125g heads for this season, but the COVID delays set delivery back 6 weeks. I missed my window, so I will have to wait until next year to give them a go.

I just switched to Magnus 150 gr. two blade this year. I haven't had the chance to use one yet.I have high hopes yet season isn't done here in Michigan. thanks god bless
I have a Lansky that I used to use for knives. I've never thought to use it for my broadheads... I currently shoot the straight-edge Black Hornets in 100 grain. I'd like to try out the ser-razors next. I'm already subscribed and following on IG!
Looking to build new arrows in 2021. Plan to go with stinger or stinger buzzcuts. Will decide on 100vs 125 gr once I figure out what new bow likes to eat!
125 grain stinger buzz cut 4 blade, took my 1st deer this fall with those on the front of my Easton axis. I was only able to find a single 3 pack before the season.
150 g Stinger Killer Bee Buzzcut! Love the more traditional style fix blades but the bleeder blades are great and the quietness of non-vented blades, just a fantastic broadhead!
A good topic for your next can of worms video (if you feel like putting yourself through another one of those lol) would be crossbows. There are lots of compound guys that just have an extreme prejudice against crossbow hunters going as far as petitioning to stop them from hunting. I feel this comes from a really uneducated perspective on the topic. I'd be more than happy to provide the objective nuances of the subject.
I've been using Lansky Sharpening kit for over a decade. You might want to clean out your stones with warm water & soap to clean to out the pores (done occasionally, when they get really dirty & a paper towel won't work.) .
I switched to Magnus buzzcut 100 grain broadheads very impressed with the performance of the heads and of course snorting some fairy dust. Can't beat free😉😉

Thanks for the info man! I know I could definitely be better at keeping my broadheads sharp throughout the season. If chosen, I'd love the 4 blade Stinger Buzzcuts in 125g!
Another great job explaining the details of your procedures! Will definitely look into a Lansky Sharpening System. If selected I would prefer the Black Hornet 125 grain 4 blade. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Nice video. I currently shoot the 125 gn. 4-blade buzzcut. They are amazingly sharp out of the package and follow my field points perfectly. I see no reason to change with my current set up, and could always use more broadheads.
I picked up a Lansky leather strop to go with my kit as well as the serrated blade stone. Both great tools to go with the kit. I just picked up a pack of QAD Exodus to try out and they are super sharp out of the box. I’m hoping to try them out on turkeys this spring to see how they fare vs the Black Hornet which I shot my last turkey with. Got a pass through but the main blade got gouged pretty bad. Of course Magnus sent me a new head for free. I’ve been impressed with the holes the Exodus leave from other people’s reviews with it being a 1-1/4” three blade and it seems like a very tough head.
