good shit. my family and i already fuq up my 20 inch model y rims already on both cars lol. its funny every model y almost has curb rash. cheap fix is permanent marker
Our other cars 3 rims all have rashes, wish we got these savers in the first place! Tried wet sand and wheel paint spent 40$ and didn’t last. Def a scar now! RimSavers can cover up existing damages and prevent further curb rashes.
Oh, I think an hour for sanding, filling and painting per rim is cheaper and faster. In my opinion the effort is disproportionate

Perhaps following the back with a plastic razor blade might help keep the adhesive on the tape as it's peeled off.

Curb rash happened. Just a turn of the wheel on a curb while parked and boom.
Rim Savers didn’t help…still have a few gashes. Really sad about it. I guess I’ll buy a new one to cover it up :(
How do you curb wheels on l a car that has so many cameras & parking sensors??
It does not have 360 birds eye view camera to see the curves like on higher end cars. Cameras are poorly placed for parking purposes.
@@megawatts I know, it doesn’t… but the repeater cameras are enough to see a curb, well from my experience. Just be carful with them beautiful wheels….
@@MegaGyalis yes for parallel parking but for pulling in from front no cameras like on the Benz or bmw with birds eye. Thye need to put a camera under the mirror.
It doesnt have to be a curb. It can be a regular worn out bus or truck route. With sunken in asphalt.
