Yeah, the official songs aren't exactly horrible but they're a little bit underwhelming. I genuinely struggle to hear Darnell in 2Hot. On the bright side though, that's only week 8 and they're taking more time to polish things up. I'm confident that other new content and Erect mode will be pretty fun to play when it's ready!
I don't think this is fanmade, if you hear close the instrumental in the buildup part you can hear the guns "ascending" part, i don't think any modder would put an effort on adding that

I know that people are sad over this song being fake because the real Week 8 songs aren't too good, but Week 8 isn't done yet. The real Week 8 songs could just be test songs. So don't judge the songs until it's done. We will just have to wait until Week 8 comes out.
