Blue Light Aware

Blue Light Aware is a short video, produced on behalf of the emergency services. Their crews rely on the help of other road users when they're on a 'blue light' journey.

Question about using bus lane if traffic is stopped. I am assuming that the emergency vehicle should use bus lanes, instead of me pulling into bus lane.
Similar for the red routes, could I stop/pull over for an emergency vehicle? Will I be fined/will I have to appeal the fine?

I never got why people would enter a bus lane for an emergency vehicle. Surely they can use it and if no buses are present. Its an empty lane for them

You shouldn't think like that, because that is not what any emergency service would want. If you have a collision as they are moving past you, they would have to stop entirely, which would prevent them getting to the emergency. All you have to do is get out of their way when you can in a safe and sensible place

Will the met police arrest me?
