By a military family she means "She comes from an old Ango-scot aristocratic family, the Swintons, and can trace her heritage to the middle ages " She is a great actor nonetheless.

She's truly a beautiful person, in and out. I've had a huge crush on her since I was a kid and saw the movie The Beach in the theater. Her partner is a very lucky man.

One of the best screen actors in the world, without a doubt. Always love watching her, she can do it all effortlessly. She's striking to look at too, you can't take your eyes off her, beautiful in an unusual way, and she doesn't need any face lifts thats for sure!

The first movie I watch was Orlando and it remains inside my head till now. I also loved her in Constantine playing that bitch Gabriel Archangel.

Most interviews of Tilda are serious AF. First time I've seen her chill.

Her Father retired as a 2 Star Major-General in the British Army which is VERY high up in the Ranks.

Yeah she comes from a very aristocratic ancient Anglo-Scots family. There are whole wiki pages devoted to her Swinton ancestors, many of them, like her, were very interesting people.
