Who ever said running a home wasn’t work, hasn’t watched your videos! Nice video showing your day! I have gardens and chickens so it makes a full days work keeping your home clean, stocked, yard work, etc. And I should say I love it and don’t miss the outside job at all!

I loved seeing your “day in the life” video Robin! I’m a fellow stay at home mom and my 7yr son has autism and adhd. We also have a 4yr old daughter. I find it hard to find fellow stay at home mom channels who have kids who go off to school (or a program like Peyton) so it’s nice to see a fellow mom who lives a similar life 🙂

Another great video! Frugal tip: We love sparkling water, but it gets pricey, so we invested in a SodaStream machine and just make the sparkling water with it- without the added syrups or sugars. We probably make 3-4 bottles a day and it encourages hubby to drink more water.
At the end of my day it was good to see your day. I loved that you said that you try and get as much information out of your son about his day. I am the same with my son. 😃

Hi Robin - Oh yes, I loved the day in the life video. I just love biographies and this is sort of like that. Payton is so handsome. Does he like his work program? I am on day 87 of Bible Recap. I am so glad you told us about it. It is wonderful and the Bible makes so much more sense chronologically. I get so much out of Tara Leigh’s commentary. Both daughters are doing it to but we can’t discuss it much because we are all in different places. Do you get ready for the day as soon as you get up? I cook extra chicken too like you do and freeze it for different meals. You look like most of your days are busy. My schedule is all out of whack now that I can’t see to drive. The doctor doesn’t know if the double vision will go away or be here to stay. At home, I am wearing an eye patch on one eye that helps the double vision but impairs my vision over all. I have not been able to do any of my activities like the pool and church activities because of not driving. Many have offered to help but its hard for me to accept that help except from family. Also, our road is being worked on and will get new asphalt so now its a mess and I don’t want anyone to get their car messed up coming to pick me up. But I will figure this all out if I am left with impaired vision forever. Just another one of life’s challenges. But as long as I have Jesus, I have all I need because.....He is where the joy is.

I like to "seal" my wrap with my sauce (cream cheese, mayo, hummus, etc). I put the sauce on the edge of the wrap and it keeps it closed
Hi Robin, hope you are well. Bit off topic but I had the day off work yesterday so I made a list! Got out my handheld steamer and did the insides of my window frames and cleaned the windows with my E Cloths. Have also purchased the E Cloth dusting glove which is brilliant. I let the chicken thaw in the refrigerator overnight and either use it cold in a salad or warm it in a sauce or casserole.

I have been to Texas a very long time ago, but would like one day to travel again in the South of the USA. There are so many beautiful places!
Your days are full! I loved to see how you manage to get everything done in a day, that made it very concrete for me. Often times, I struggle with the estimated time to do a task, as you talked about in your last video, and if I think I don’t have enough time, then I don’t do it. Of course, things pile up and I get stressed out. Seeing how you lived your day gave me a good lesson in time management! 👍
Thanks also for the idea of cooking a big batch of chicken, instead of just what was needed for that particular meal. I tend to think of meals one at a time and don’t prepare much in advance, which means that I most certainly work much harder than I could if I did prepare in advance!

Enjoyed seeing your day - different kind of vlog. A couple of things stood out - your Le Sueur peas label is different from ours up here, you ran your dishwasher in the middle of the day and yet said you were frugal - so i am guessing that your electricity rate is not higher during the daytime (it is least expensive for us to run it after 7pm and before 7 am, highest between 11 am and 4 pm). Now I want a spinach and chicken salad !! Love Austin's enthusiasm for life
