It was a fantastic and awesome welcoming number presented by 50 energetic youngsters from 9 sectors of Noklak Town. It was sung during the inaugural day of Noklak, the 12th District of Nagaland,India which was held On 8th of January 2018.
In brief, the #first_stanza is a victory song of our forefathers. It is said that they used to sung during the celebration of their victory over the enemy with its head.
"Ting Ting Sasa,
Mongling ko yaa,
Mongling ko ya,
Ting Ting Sasa...." Woh...Woh...Hui...Hui..
#Second_stanza described the land of Khiamniungan,
The land with great mountains and vales
The land of great water source
With eternal streams and flowers bloom
Across the virgin green mountain, Khulia King.
#Third_stanza welcomes the VIPs and their retinues
Celebrate with acclamation
For the Lord has giveth this day
We welcome you in our land
With hearts full of bliss and gratitude,
#last_stanza conveys the cultural identity of Khiamniungan. It's a popular Slogan of Khiamniungan Naga Tribe which says:
"Apung ko pung Khiamniungan ko pung,
Anyim ko nyim Khiamniungan ko nyim,
Atzeniu ta ve, Aleiniu ta ve
Khiamniungan Mele ookh"
