    I did mine today on my 2014 Cayenne GTS. There were more cables than this video, so it took me longer and I had a hard time getting the plastic piece back in with the new latch assembly. But I did get it! Works GREAT! Thanks for the video! It took me a little over 2 hours.

    I just want to take this moment to thank you for posting this video. There was no way I could have finished this job without breaking something (and/or getting stuck forever), most specifically on loosening the 2 glass window bolts (turning clockwise) and using 5/32" socket (I was looking at it and trying to figure what tool I needed to loosen it, rewind the video, and saw you specified using 5/32" socket). Again, there was just no way I could have finished this job without your video. I would have packed everything up and taken it to a specialist, which I heard would have costed around $400 labor. Again, thank you for taking time to put this video together.😊

    Really well done video - thank you. Just had this happen on my 2012 Cayenne, very same door, exact symptom. Oddly if I activate the child lock for that door, everything works normal - it locks and the alarm chirps. Will fix it at some point but for now it's fun treating my teenager like a toddler and waiting for me to open the door.

    I put this off for WAY too long, thinking it was going to be a huge ordeal. But only an hour of time and $100 and this was an easy repair!

    Thank you for the video! I do have a quick question on the window. So I rolled it down half way and loosened it with the 5/32. But now when I try to drop the window back into the notch and tighten, the window still seems to hit something causing it to not drop fully. Did you keep the window up, while the 2 bolts were loose then put it up and bring it back down then tighten again? Hope you can help! Thanks

      Thanks! I kept the window up while the bolts were loose and then dropped it back down and tightened the 5/32 bolts.

    Thanks so much for this video! I had a few more wire harness connectors that snaked around the plastic bracket, but it was easy enough to follow along and get it sorted. Well shot and edited and really easy to follow along. Great work!

    Hi there. Great video, BUT Where did you get the FEMALE M5 socket to loosen the window clamps?

    • @AutoAnatomy
      @AutoAnatomy  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had one, no idea where it came from.

    I saw you lift the glass up during the disassembly but you didn't show what to do during the reassembly. Is there anything that needs to happen with the window during the reassembly?

    • @AutoAnatomy
      @AutoAnatomy  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You set it back down and clamp back in place. Basically the reverse of disassembly.

    • @digants2663
      @digants2663 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@AutoAnatomy Instead of pulling the window glass up after loosening the clamps I have seen other videos to just suction cup the glass in place at the 9inch roll down mark and then no need to touch the window. Assume that will work the same as I'm going to tackle this job this weekend?

    • @AutoAnatomy
      @AutoAnatomy  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @digants2663 Should be able to, yes

    • @digants2663
      @digants2663 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So I got everything done as your video was perfect. I held the 8 inch rolled down window glass in place with suction cup and completed reinstall with no issues and door lock is back to working properly. I hit the window to roll up the glass and the glass just drops down. I was able to pull it physically back up and hold the window up button until it secured closed, but if I try to roll down at all the glass just drops into the door. Or sure how the mechanism works, but I guess I will have to take the door apart again to see.

      @Sound_isKing 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes sir! I love RC! I have a few planes left, never tried the outdoor helicopters. Only the inside ones that cost like 100 bucks and can take a fall or two as they are pretty light. I’ve seen one two many of the big boys get destroyed outdoors, likely due to pilot error, but as expensive as these toys are, I know they cried inside when they crashed. They are super cool. I have a nice collection of off-road cars and recently I got into the drift scene. It’s always more fun when you can get together with others and enjoy the hobby

    I just finished replacing my left rear door actuator on my 12’ Cayenne S. Everything locks and works well, but there’s no beeping after the car is locked. It’s driving me crazy. What could be the cause of it?

    • @AutoAnatomy
      @AutoAnatomy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sounds like the car doesn't recognize the door lock working. I'm not sure why it's not beeping.
