Man, I didn't think watching somebody fix cartridges would be so fun and entertaining, but here we are. And having worked back from your most recent to this one, the jump in quality is great from this to the Pokemon Blue repair. I hope I get to enjoy even more of your repairs ^.^
Yeah, my bad. This was the first video I ever recorded and ended up using my iPhones mic. Didn’t run it through any editing apps. My next videos are much better with production quality.
Thanks for watching! I got all of that sorted out in my later videos. In that video I was recording off of my iPhone and didn’t do any editing. On my later videos I got a proper mic and filter setup.
what i always tell people is learn how to solder practice for a while when you are skilled and confident enough then go ahead because its not like you can go to shop and buy a new game
I hope this channel takes off. Quality is very good and you seem very knowledgeable.

Thank you very much!

"Welp, okay"
Great explanation! I haven't gotten into fixing pins like that so super helpful.
Nice work and flux is your friend as you've shown, use it to make the job much easier to do.
omg the droning sound in the background made my subwoofer mad (and possibly my neighbors).

Can we get a video on the SP mod you have to test the game, it looks great, amazing video, very informative
That might make a great video down the road. Thanks for the suggestion.
I just want to bump this comment. That mod is insanely cool
I'd love to see that, too!
Great video and expert advice and demonstration!! Keep it up! :)
I solder at class three for medical equipment and I’ve replaced a lot of these. It’s sad when this happens.
Yeah, you can see more damage on my latest Emerald video. It’s extremely common, sadly.
Im here before your channel blow up! :)
in my experience the easiest way to reset the rtc is just cheap ds flashcart with rtcread-ds on it, given you have ds with gba slot. No mod required.
I just connect it up to my PC using a GBXCart and set the flags with PKHex.
What SP mod shell is that, I absolutely love the color!
That’s the Slate mod. You can find the shell at retro game repair shop.
this was excellent!
I have a Pokemon Ruby cartridge that I tried replacing the battery. It didn't work. Could you possibly fix it?
Ese fue mi primer cartucho de Pokémon Ruby muchas horas j💪😎🍻ugando
I have a suggestion. Use a high-pass filter to remove the really low frequency hum in the background.
Thanks for watching! I got all of that sorted out in my later videos. In that video I was recording off of my iPhone and didn’t do any editing. On my later videos I got a proper mic and filter setup.
"Aaaand we're getting a scrambled nintendo logo."
Naaahhh cmon just blow on it and it'll work again lol
That’s an excellent way to get liquid damage on your games.
I need my emerald fix. How can I get in contact with you?
