Which one to chose between Kawai KDP 75 or Casio AP 270 for a small child taking the first piano lessons? How different is the key action between the two models?
Unfortunately, once again you only recorded the line output, which of course sounds a lot different than they do in reality because it completely takes out the speaker system. This way you also even almost can't tell a difference between them. In the end, this way it has no value for anyone who wants to hear what he actually gets.
Funny to hear how same processor Air was "managed" by marketologists to produce less resonance in lower models to make sound simplier. If it was exactly same (I'm sure it's exactly same hardware) Casio shouldn't promote it like "same" technology you know. Better way would cut presets and leave sound good. Naah marketologists as usually killed good products.
Hi I liked well structured and well argued videos but I also have a question. I want to get a digital piano and I'm stuck between 3 models Casioa px770, casio ap 270 and roland rp 102 I don't know what to choose, if you would also make a comparison or a top 10 pianos under $ 1,000 for the px series I would be very grateful
@@ramchandramohan182 From the 3 models mentioned above I chose ap 270 and you can see the luck I moved to a new block and I live in apartment 270 I still have a lot to learn to sing something beautiful if you could give me a advice for a beginner pianist I would be grateful
@@ramchandramohan182 hey. I will buy ap270 this month. Are you still satisfied? Im beginner. No money for yamaha. Ap270 looks and sounds reeealy good. Thanks
i would like if some one can help me , because i am trying to buy the ap 470 or ap 710 just because both have different Software AIR Multidimentional vs AIR GRAND and i cant hear a big difference , if some one can help me i would apreciatted
I’ve tried them both out on a showroom floor just recently, and I have to say that the difference between the quality of the grand sound is quite big. The Berlin grand sound on the ap-710 is immaculate, and gives you the impression that the action is better as well. I almost went with the 470 just because of the price, but after jumping between the two back-to-back I knew I had to spend the extra money or I would have regretted it. I’ve had the 710 for about a month now and am still in love with it!
Hello :) Can you help me, I have the AP-270 and want to record the sound with my computer. Can I use an USB-A to USB-B cable and then, for example, audacity? Or how do you record the sound of it? I don't have a midi interface or so, I just only want the sound of the playing.
There are two ways to do this on pretty much every digital piano. With the USB-A to USB-B cable it won't transmit the sound but your keypresses in MIDI. You then need a software on your computer that creates sound from your key presses. You can use any digital audio workstation like the trial version of Ableton to do this. So the sound you will be recording comes from Ableton's builtin piano and the keypresses are sent from your real piano. For the second way you need to buy an audio interface like the Focusrite Scarlett. This allows you to connect the audio outputs on the back of your piano to the computer. You can then record the sound in Audacity.
Just bought an AP 470. Very disappointed. Its user unfriendly and has a very tinny sound. After saying that; you get what you pay for and this is a beginner's piano for sure.
It is strange. Mine has a very warm sound, nothing tinny at all. May it be different samples they put in the same piano line? i use most of the time the sound of the grand piano 1, concert mode.
@@cryptofantasy149 They are different, Celviano is more like a furniture, Privia is more like an portable piano, but the sound and keyboard is the same.
The Casio ap470 is no good. Mine stopped working 9 months after purchase. I bought it from Sweetwater and they told me that I would have to pay to have it shipped back to them. I can not afford to pay to ship it back so I am stuck with a piece of junk. Don't buy one.
Wow that 710 has rich tone. Absolutely beautiful at 13:24.
AP470🔥 my best choice of the year
Would you pick ap470 or kawai kdp120?

I am on the same boar and between these two models. Any update on your end?
which piano do you recommend for advanced players?
What is the difference between celviano and privia please ?
Does the 270 have a MIDI connection? So I can connect it to my PC and record Midi?
Can these be hooked up to external speakers or amps??

Out of all the pianos you listed AP 270 is the best, speaking from experience.☺️
I own Ap 270, it's really good, especially with headphones. But I'd suggest you to go for 470 as it has USB port for recording.

Спасибо за видео! Пытаюсь определиться с выбором между 470 и 710. Думаю что все же 710 выигрывает.
The 710 has steadier keys, on the 470 they are a bit lose :(
Amazing EP intro (not sure wich The Doors song it was about) by Ted at the beginning of the video.

Мне больше 470 понравился, звук показался живее, натуральнее.
There is not that much of a difference, i dont think it justifies the price to go up from 270 to 470, 270 is great piano
The Beatles Flying and The Doors Light My Fire.
It’s so obvious from this movie you have no idea about those pianos, you can’t even get the grand pianos right :)

I bought the 470, after listening to many others at this price point I thought this sounded the best. Not tinny at all, very rounded with deep bass.
