True, a lot of likeable characters in this team now, and to think so many of them are from our very own hale end. Lovely to see them grow and develop into a cohesive unit. Just hope we have enough depth next season to deal with more competition and injuries.

@@NakulKrishna we will, the reason we have such a thin squad is due to the lack of European football and then in January we were out of everything other than the league, in a way no Europe has been great for us, as if we had the extra competition a lot of the squad players that needed clearing out may still be here. We have a thin squad cos of not being in Europe which is why I don’t get the rival fans saying this squad wouldn’t be able to do what we’ve done in the league if we had European football
@@user-io8cm4dk1f true, we’ve used being out of competitions in a way that works to our favour long term for sure. Recruitment has to be on point though but I’m hopeful it works out.

That last shot. I think Granit will be a fine coach one day. He has great leadership and everyone that works with him says so. I personally think he should stay with us. MOTM last game for me and the mistakes everyone talks about haven't happened in a long time now he plays that same role as he does for country.

He's their eyes and voice on the pitch during games. It amazes me how people fail to decern his value to Arsenal.
It’s actually kinda sad that he relates more with the coaches. He used to hang out with Luiz, Ozil, Kolasinac, Mustafi etc. They’re all gone now. He needs similar experienced players to chat too cause it kinda feels like has has no big friend there.

I hear people saying “he’s too slow” as if he needs to be usain bolt to play his role well. I’m tired of it. Kudos to his mental strength . If it were up to me, I’d make him captain AGAIN

I am a gooner sine 1983 my first match I was 5 it was against Brighton in feb 1983 I have loved this club ever since!!! This is a good group best we had in years. I agree. But Granit doesn’t want to be captain because he feels that the fans won’t respect him, and the captain needs that good relationship with the fans. If that perspective changes then it’s possible.
