Hey Jurijs, i have a problem with my new planted tank. I did the DSM for 2 weeks however i noticed some HC cuba dying so i decided to flood the tank. 1 1/2 weeks later the HC cuba is dying at a rapid rate. I have noticed that there is some sort of string algae ontop of the HC cuba however i dont know how to get rid of it. Everyday the string algae is growing to other parts of the tank and is killing other sections of the HC cuba. Any suggestions on how to save my HC cuba? Tank specs: Treated with Sachem Flourish twice a week Co2 treated - indicator is green no fish added yet ADA amazonia II substrate Ph 6.6 No ammonia , nitrites or nitrates

Great video again, thanks for the content! Looking for ideas for my fluval edge 46l. It's pretty tall so and has a small opening at the top so not easy to rescape. Think I'll use the tall grass from the first tank you showed us in this video. What's the name of it exactly?

Yes I’ve done couple in the past, problem with corner tanks is the distortion from the bow front glass. It will make your tank even deeper than it is, so one advice i can give - don’t do a flat open space in the middle, it will look larger and your tank will look empty, instead go for island style and make something bold in the middle that comes close to the front glass and leave the side corners open, this will give the best effect

the 2nd tank: except the main rock every thing seems a little more flat. the baground need elevating. and the fron/mid ground can given more depth by using a symmetric smaller rocks and combination of larger texcture palnt in the front and smaller to the back.

In Bigart's case, the idea of an serious aquascape trying to do something beautiful based on the algae we all love to hate is actually intriguing. There's a research project ;-)
Oh, you were actually referring to your Cladophora comment. I'm lost in the timeline. Well that's interesting too, although I tried a couple times splitting Cladophora balls and sticking it on stones (based on a tip from you) and it looked kinda lame. The cladophora never really grew enough to cover the cutting marks nor the stone.
Concerning the first tank, I know hes got 4 stones in there, but the overall impression is still uneven. Strikes my eye in the same way an odd number would. Spirit of the law>letter of the law IMO

The more you practice, the better you will become. First try to learn how to grow plants, next Master the algae and finally work on your design

I opted to aquascape my nanotank with 100% algae to save myself from frustration and despair.
Cladophora is an algae and is commonly used to decorate aquariums 😉
