CBG and the acidic precursors are what I'm most curious about currently. Dr. Russo is the greatest. Literally wouldn't be able to do what I do working in a medical cannabis dispensary without the knowledge he has shared
10:41 The word is "Joy". The CB1 receptor creates a feeling of joy. Anandamide is the endogenous cannabinoid which activates CB1 and the word "anandamide" comes from the sanskrit word for "joy".

Excellent info. Thanks. It's great to hear from an expert that THC is a lousy, not easily tolerated drug. Coming from someone who used to smoke regular cannabis and then later used delta8, thco etc and stopped due to bad effects, I'm sticking to CBD and CBDa and full spectrum hemp extracts for pain, anxiety and inflammation. I think CBDa is excellent and I'm glad it's being studied more and the positive effects shown. I don't like the self consciousness that comes from high THC or other THC analogs.

I've found that the more terpenes the flower has or concentrate has, the better my high is.
If THCA and CBDA don't have a binding affinity for the cb1 receptor how do they enact their effects? Is it through cb2 or another receptor site?

What percentage of thc in cbg? Would really appreciate a response if possible. Great video, btw.
It depends on who/where you get the cbg from. You can get CBG oil/CBG Hemp flower from different vendors online that claim very low/non existent thc levels. It's a lot easier to find now than it used to be a year ago since CBG is becoming more recognized for its medicinal properties.
technically the levels are not suppose to be higher than 3% of THC in the tincture. the highest THC I've ever seen was with Lazarus Naturals full spectrum the high potency one, 2mg of THC per dose which is 50mg of CBD and some generous amount of CBG.
2mg of THC is about a quarter of a gummy!

I have been doing my own study I went Express any results if had or not had but you should hit me up I'm telling you I have done a whole research study on this with leaflets
