- A simple and easy to understand guide to Tzvetan Todorov's Narrative Theory to help students and teachers doing Media Studies at A-level, or even at GCSE.
I teach the Eduqas exam board now for both Key Stages but this video can be used to help you understand the theory even if you are studying a different exam board.
I am a Media Studies teacher with 10 years experience in the classroom, and so hopefully this all makes sense!
You’re the only one getting me through my media mock exams atmm 😩
Honestly, my Media A Level is in May and I’m binging these videos so I can pass 😂

These's are brilliant! Its really helping me through my A-levels. Have you got a video based on David Hesmondhalgh?
this was literally so helpful today
Hi these videos are great. Could you possibly do one on Judith Butler? Thanks.
matt rob will be uploaded soon!
ma’am ur amazing thank you 🙏🏽
Is todorov ‘Gilray’??
Gilroy? No they are two separate theorists.
could you do this for cludia sings please
got my GCSE tomorrow 😭
In Todorov's article on narrative structure there are 5 stages, not 3.
You’re quite right. Although they often get simplified down to the 3 main stages that people seem to focus on. And it is those simplified main stages that media students need to be aware of.
