I dont consider myself a fanboy of anything in life. When it comes to ronaldo v messi i just dont view it as a contest. I also dont take their personalities into account. Im simply talking on the field ability. For me, messi is way in front. Ronaldo is of course a great player, a goal machine like many other players before him. I sincerely cannot remember the last time i saw ronaldo do anything that made me sit up and take notice. He is simply an outstanding goalscorer and i give him the due respect. Messi on the other hand is in a world of his own. He does something special in almost every game. He is the complete package. Goals, Assists and some fantastic dribbles and work ethic. He is a complete team player. When it comes to these debates ppl always side with one over the other. I dont listen to the real, barca & man utd fans as they are biased, same as the ex players to those clubs are biased. When u listen to the neutrals they generally all prefer Messi. My final point is whenever there is a debate on who is the greatest of all time, it will be a debate involving messi, maradonna and maybe pele.
