Best Wizard of Oz play ive seen out of all the other versions schools have tried to achieve but didnt come close to this superb show. Well done The Middle School Players! That was Wonderful. :)))
27:03 Dorothy says her full name to Scarecrow in this play, but actress Judy Garland from the movie just says "How you do, then said very well thank you when Scarecrow said "how do you do back but never told him her name. But Ray Bolger the actor who played Scarecrow in the 1939 movie somehow knew her name at the apple orchards when picking a fight with the trees??? That always bugged me for years, how did he know her name when she never gave it when he was stuck on the pole.
first of all the music from the orchestra was stop on at the beginning, 2 second of all dorothy had a real dog in the movie, so well done for that. Now my constructive observation of 4 mistakes, 1. Dorothy needed to raise her voice more singing Over the Rainbow, 2 Ms Gulch had a bicycle in the 1939 film, the girl playing her didnt have one?? 3 after Ms Gulch left she should of when behind the door at the bottom of the catwalk, put the basket down n let toto out by pretending he got away like the film. 4. Dorothy is meant to either wait by the bedroom window of the farmhouse or by the front door n get hug toto with happiness, then say they should run away before meeting prof marvel, but instead prof marvel had him, thats not how it happened in the movie. Just saying, but keep up the good work, i am watching it now in uk at 1:47AM just now, i just got to the prof marvel bit. Thank you.
