Just got done with work for the week. Got a notification, cancelled a drinking plan, reached home, poured a patiala and thankfully I'm in India after 3 years because I wouldn’t make it through this episode without ordering some kickass northern indian food. Can't wait for the rest of the episodes.
This channel was randomly recommended. You guys remind me of Rocky and Mayur, they are ofcourse legends in this genre of culinary Travel. But you guys definitely have the production quality along with great on screen energy
nihari is an emotion. few words can do justice to what it is and how it transforms the joy of eating it. absolutely in my top 5 of all time favs. yet again a fun-filled episode.
: You folks consistently set the bar high with your top-notch conversation and attention to detail, not to mention that stellar Director of Photography (DOP)! And let's not forget about that killer background music (BGM) - it's the cherry on top! Keep up the fantastic work, keep rocking as you always do. Cheers to more greatness ahead!
The thing that makes you guys stand out is the distinct character your video have, resulting in creative and unique additions like the apology letter gags here, or the dariyaganj skit or simply the overlay text which provides additional context. Under-rated.
Man these guys are criminally underrated, just unscripted entertainment and facts , it like to trouble makers who became successful and remained intolerable pricks to each other, these guys remind me of my time with my homies eating food and talking shit
The director and camera unit got me in the starting 2 min the visuals!!!! Ufffff!!!! I ate the deliciousness of the food through my eyes ..... And you guys are killing the video from your presence guys 🔥✨!!! Keep it up ❤️!!!
Don't know how I stumbled onto this video and boy! So cool to watch #BigFatFoodie boys having a great time! Thank you for showing true food fems of Dehli, especially that nihari! Makes me wish to visit India one day. Till then please make a visit to my city Karachi so I can show you around our food gems, and maybe our Nihari can beat Kallu Nihari :) much love and support from Pakistan brothers!
Very underrated food channel with lots of knowledge about food ...you guys need atleast 10 million subscribers....god bless you guys with lots of love and lots of subscribers❤😅
Our family moved from Old Delhi - Chandi Chowk to Karachi. We still make dal ghost, gobi ghost etc at home. Karachi was established by the Sindhis, enhanced by the Parsis, developed by the British and then coloured in and beautified by the Delhiwalas, Lucknowis, Kolkatawale, Bengalis, Gujratis, and then eventually the Pathans. Each race brought with them their colours, traditions, food and love. Karachi like all cosmopolitan cities has a thriving street food scene that is rooted in Delhi's tradition. Much love to this show for showing us where it all began.
Loved this episode, the jalebi I find tastes best on its own, the Nahari I have had was at al-Jawahar and it was amazing ... will do Kallu next trip on your recco. The butter drowned kebabs are seriously overdone and detract from the joy of the kebab. The Daulat ki Chaaat at CC is fabulous! What made my day was the Daal Gosh discussion :)
Love your content! Thanks for being back!❤ Good job with the apology for the false statements made about the benne dose😂. Youll saved yourselves from a lynching
You guys missed the Fried Chicken in Jama Masjid at Haji Mohd. Hussain! Excellent Fried Chicken with their Yellow Chilli Chutney and Rumali Roti! Great content, as always! As a Delhi resident, can't wait to see what else is in store!
Sid and I both agree that Nihari is one of the best food items ever. I spent five years in Delhi but sadly didn't try Nihari at Kallu. Though I have had Nihari from Lahore and Karachi too. It does not come close to Delhi's
When you were in Mumbai you should have tried the seekh kebabs at Sarvi, Bhindi Bazar. Not heavy on spices, pure meat flavour, very thin, crispy on the outside and moist & creamy on the inside. My kind of seekh where the meat is the only flavour you will get.
I found your channel in search of food in Delhi just 20 minutes back and have been watching your amazing videos and savings the locations .. also i wanted to ask the evening timings of kallu nahari!
Loved the vlog…followed the same trail today….Blissful! You guys are too good, and your choices match our palette (skipped dahi bhalla 😂) Feedback: you were very specific about the correct Qureshi…but it’s so confusing, we are at 1, then found the one recommended. Mohabbat ka sharbat guy had moved his thela to another Qureshi 😢…please pin the location. Will be helpful!
You guys remind me of nostalgia......Only food show I rated highly ever was Highway on my plate any one who is on par to them is you guys....Kudos....Love it...even though I am a vegetarian.😂..You guys are gonna go places.
Congratulations boys. Return of the desi forkers, loved the episode. Disagree with you on two things - nihari being from delhi( and it's okay from where ever it is as long as you get three variants of it and it's tasty) Seekh kebab - for me Delhi serves the best seekh kebabs hands down but the 'delhification' of food annoys me, adding extra 'amul' butter in everything as if it's amrit(another example is Aslam butter chicken), and topping everything with cheese and mayo. Ofcourse the seekh would be juicy if you douse it in butter, originally the taste would come from the meat to fat ratio of the kebab and even then some of the skilled kebabchis are proud of the fact that they don't add extra fat(charbi) to their kebabs and get soft juicy kebabs. Love the vibe, all the best for the series. Cheers 🍻 P.S. Fuck Benne dosa.
Sorry, our comment was for another post ..hahahaha meant to say, completely agree. This fucking butter business is so goddamn annoying on everything these days. Not sure it's Delhification, might be more of that Gujarat thing that has spread.
You criticized Natraj. You found Kallu Nihari. You didn't go to Karim and paranthe waali gali....YOU ARE REAL FOOD VLOGGERS....hats off....
Cheers
True stuff

Met Sid by chance at veronicas in Bandra, super wonderful warm person to talk to and all round foodie!

It's wonderful to hear how your family has kept those rich culinary traditions alive! Karachi truly is a melting pot of cultures and flavors.
We Karachiites also take our nihari very seriously and have a ton of great nihari spots across the city!
