Though if you wanted the full OG, you coulda ran Surf, which apparently Rhydon learned because its initial design was far less rocky and it was envisioned as ferrying people across the water.

That's such a wild fact. I believe it surfs in the anime as well? Definitely in line with the original theme. Hard to believe Rhydon was the 1st!
