I mean Case did seem to be in the Cradle program back in 1981, the same year that BOCW takes place so it’s possible that after shooting Bell, Adler re-brainwashed him with MKUltra causing Bell to volunteer for Cradle or he survived and Bell was ashamed of his past and volunteered for Cradle which Adler started working on.
@DMCfan189 but case being drugged and being a test subject couple years before cold war I'm assuming wouldnt make sense he would be bell bc wouldnt he be tripping like he did in bo6? But bell never did in could war just from brainwashing which was different
Except Woods makes no mention of him being familiar beit his face or his voice, he spent only a few weeks at APT, and Case is always mentioned to have been a VOLUNTEER. Even his inner monologue/fragmented coping psyche makes note of it. He cannot be Bell, while dates may seem to add up it rlly doesnt. Not to mention the fact Bell is Russian, Case seems to be American born and bred
It's kind of infuriating that Case doesn't have a proper face or voice, they could have played so much with it when they revealed his past. But the Case story honestly seems much interesting, he was basically a brainwashed super soldier who scaped Pantheon experiments and now has remains of mental control. That's just SO cool of a concept and its very Black Ops tho. Instead they put the Harrow mission at the end which felt so out of touch with the game but works for explaining her motivation, but Case story could have been so much better if they focused on it
I was hoping Jane‘s parents were murdered by Alex Mason, considering he had a similar leather coat after he escaped vorkuta and was missing an MIA for five years until 1968 the reason why he would’ve killed her parents is because he found out they had connections the manufacturing or distribution of nova six, which was adapted overtime to become a more aggressive variant, a.k.a. the cradle. Throwing Saddam H in just as a name drop because of the time. Period and specific location certain missions take place was kind of lazy. I was also hoping we’d see Raul Menendez rising to power potentially working with and or betraying Saddam. So he can get his hands on the cradle.. I only mentioned Menendez because in Black ops two he had billions of followers so in the 90s you would expect him to have at least has 500 million followers and therefore he’d be on the CIA’s radar but you’d also have to take him to consideration. He was already on the radar because of his father, so it was a convenient decision made by the devs to leave him out.
@@dx9frost It almost seemed like to me that they are maybe setting up another game that takes place after bo6 because pretty much nobody died, which means that whole crew is still there and I don't think they will be able to kill them off too well in a seasonal story. Maybe bo7 is another direct sequel. but if so hopefully not like mw3, If they screw up the black ops story I'ma be mad 😂
Bell might still be dead but there is some evidence he's alive. One is (as many people brought up)bell was shot in 1981 and case was in the cradle in 1981.Bell trips out when he realizes he was being brainwashed and when Case hears Pantheon he also trips out. Also Adler knew who Case was and we don't know when Case joined the CIA and when Adler got kicked out for being a mole. One last reason is that they call him "Case ONE"as if he has to be reminded that he was the first. There are some plot holes like he was an experiment so he might be the very first experiment.I just finished the vid and why did he have the eye dilation stuff? BECAUSE HE WAS A SCIENTIST I JUST THOUGHT OF THIS.THE STUFF WAS THE CRADLE OMG!(I'm making to many connections)
@@tapeunknowntechnically they have done that with their protags b4. Hell they used a completely different character model for Yuri during the beginning of OG MW3, they're not known to exactly be forthcoming with silent protag's faces
@ and I’ll be honest, I bet cause Bell was a good asset in helping with Perseus, I believe there were “moles” in the CIA during Cold War so it’s a possibility Perseus and Pantheon could’ve crossed paths and which is why Perseus seemed so heavily geared up and if I’m not mistaken, we didn’t really get an answer on who really framed Adler and why, so my theory was that it was Bell who framed him, he was alive and joined Pantheon, was able to use some connections and even his own to help frame Adler but now, maybe I’m wrong but I really do hope we get a confirmation on if Bell survived (which he probably didn’t) or if he’s dead
Spoilers below I get why Bell was a silent protagonist in Cold War, and it’s not because of player customization of Bell’s gender or nationality, but because Bell would have a Russian accent and that would give away his origin. Case, however desperately needed a voice actor. His interactions with the rest of the team were very cool and he’s super interesting without saying a word, but he would’ve been a better character, and the other actors would’ve given better deliveries of their lines when interacting with Case. I think certain scenes would also go from cool to very memorable, iconic COD scenes. Like when Case was in the basement he could’ve interacted with the Voice, or tried to respond to Marshall, but say Case’s transmitter was broken. Also the ending scene with Harrow in the helicopter would’ve been cool if he knew more about what Case thought and felt.
It dosen’t make sense. Both games have options that you can talk to your teammates in the safehouse. You can talk to everyone as Bell and nothing happens
@@morse4989 But technically bell talks to everyone and adler, sims, park, mason and woods seem to suspect nothing. If bell never talked then every convo would be awkward
Case seems a little similar to Mason. They both were test subjects for the bad guys, influenced by the bad guys, and are supposedly sleeper agents. That's how I think of it Edit: Thanks for 1K likes everyone, it's been a personal goal of mine for a while. Much appreciated 🙏
The cradle was a hallucinogenic gas that made Case rage, as seen on the other cutscenes. When Gustav was with Harrow they showed what happens. The zombies were the side effects they mentioned, Marshall even said he was surprised Case managed to find the area before they did. Just imagine, you’re in an empty facility and you hear gunshots and your boy isn’t responding. In one of the files in the Rook, you can see where Felix noticed Case was night screaming about Harrow and The Cradle, the physiological response to trauma was noticed and they never brought it up in story
Case was the first trials in 81, only time unaltered cradle was used. While Case was volatile, i dont think the zombies/illusions were a thing then. I think the altered 91 Cradle was where the zombies come from as a reason why those under the influence are so violent. Coupled with a heightened sense of agression, seeing things coming at you that you dont know are actually regular humans would make the person attack visciuously. Thats just my idea tho, it was originally meant to be a super soldier program but everything kinda fucked up
@@rings2085 I think the Cradle that Case is exposed to in the lab is the one from 81. There was an accident in the lab which forced it to be shut down.
yeah, It is implied that while hallucinating, case wasnt actually having seizures, he was running through the labs shooting out of control and nearly killed his team, he apparently KNOWS the building enough for him to walk through it while dissociated.
i saw a theory that the stenographer/dude at the end is actually Ryan Jackson, the analyst who made all the documents on the B01 terminal and ordered a hit on Mason
Yeah Cane was in the meeting after the first mission along with being in the Senator mission. I think he also appears in the mission where you play as Jane at the end of the game along with the guy we see on the computer at the very end who is the Pantheon agent still within the CIA.
Hi @inkslasher I noticed a small detail, it's also kind of interesting what Adler and Marshal say to Case during the campaign "It's up to you" pretty much similar what Adler used to say to bell "We've got a job to do"
I liked this campaign but I think I liked Cold War a little more due to a hunt for a person or what turned out to be an organization. I feel like we were missing the that aspect of somebody in charge. Also, a DC mission would have been a good way to end the game. Also they built this game with the likes of Margaret thatcher, Sadaam, George Bush Sr, Colin Powell, etc.z And the game had no involvement from them.
its better than cw imo. has way better gameplay and has a more interesting story that it way less generic than cw even if It leaves unanswered questions
Bro I genuinely was so disappointed there wasn’t a mission in DC, I thought it was gonna be a full on warzone or the starting of one and the last mission is you killing the big bad
@@SnailSnail-lo4pmfalse. Its says in one of the documents from the lab that the hallucinations only appeared as things you had previously seen declaring that case killed at least more than 1 real zombie
You can see cain in a mission in BO6. At "Most wanted" you hear Marshall telling you that CIA operatives are hunting you Caine is standing in the entrance. If he finds you he says"You are tough man to find, Case" test it yourself.
Also when cradle is broken Jane Harrow's Personality shifts and she's suddenly "Sane" now and suggest getting out of the Helicopter together while Case is in "Rage"!
@@rings2085 but her Voice is changing too. In the memories her "violent" voice is very harsch. The sane voice is soft. When she switches, her harsch voice fades to the soft one. Yeah she could try to manipulate him, but i think she shiftes personalities.^^
8:42 while trying to get the detail devourer calling, I remember there being an option of trying to tell someone that he was apart of the cradle experiments, but the voice then again orders case that he must not speak of it.
10:59 I think part of the mission actually happened and part of it didn’t. Earlier in the mission Troy and Sev, ask Case about the gunfire downstairs, and Case even makes it to an upper level using the keycards, to get to where they found him having a seizure. I think only the very end may have been in his head. Even in the safe house, one of the keycards you obtain in that mission, is hung on the board.
Completely true here. Case's exposure to the new Cradle rlly begins when he reaches the door at the maintenance entrence and then reaches it's height when he's inside the elevator. Case most likely stumbled out of the eleveator and got to the console we see in the coming to reality scene and began seizing in reality while Case fights the big bad both ingame and inlore (Case/The Voice call the Directors monsters) Marshal and Sev arrive and find him seizing as per Marshall's dialogue until Case wakes up and begins to attack them, while we're still in the bossfight. Once the bossfight ends we see as Case is overwhelmed by zombies but is in reality just Sev and Marshall and Case is able to realize that soon after
I don't believe Case is Bell bc Adler would be saying and acting as if he gotta keep Bell from talking, Woods for sure ends up saying something, so Case is not Bell - there be wayyy more hidden easter eggs about Perseus, Stitch, etc Adler was someone working ATA so he understands better how Case works Case cannot be Mason cause Woods, Adler would be chatting nonstop and plotting to get back at Menendez first before Pantheon
It's just my theory, but I think it could be Mason. It could be possible that after the Panama mission, some Panthoen members recovered Mason's body and took him to the site for the testing of the cradle. My only reasoning for this is the fake reznov we see which is similar to the voice we hear. If im not wrong, there was also a random cutscene of Mason Ina wheel chair talking to woods in BO4.
Adler wasn't at ATA for long and even mentioned that he he'd heard rumors of human experimentation but hadnt seen any during his time there. Adler either had no interaction with Case prior to his arrival and capture in Kuwait or had met him before during Case's time as an agent for the CIA in the past 10 years and just didnt know that Case was in fact the human experiment he had heard of before
@@Bobodododo I have no clue how others reached the conclussion to believe Bell is alive considering Adler is not one to make mistakes as big as brainwashing a Perseus agent
10:51 it definitely happened, cuz where he woke up at is where the disciple was. So he probably was just running around the facility like a madman and then broke out of it when they woke him up
Fun Fact: If you open the 4 Pin Box Lock in the mission Hunting Season they each have a audio log and they talk about two brother being experimented. Probably it has connection with Case
Case isn't Bell. Their back stories don't line up. Case was experimented on to be a super soldier, Bell was experimented on to reveal their secrets. Plus, Adler clearly kills Bell at the end of Cold War. EDIT: Also, the voice in Case's head tells him that they VOLUNTEERED for the program. But Bell was experimented against their will, further supporting that they're two different characters.
Wouldn't say clearly. They probably both get shots off, but bell being wounded and carried away. Think about it. Why wouldn't Adler just cap bell with the rest of the team? They all know who he was. Adler always has an ulterior motive. It's Adlers whole modus operandi. Either way it's up to Treyarch to feed us clues
@th3f1rsthunt3r4 No he clearly kills Bell. Before the game ends with the gunshot the barrel of the pistol is clearly aimed at Bell's head. It wouldn't make sense for Adler to shoot Bell just to injure them. Bell knew too much about the CIA and had to be taken out.
@ArmyRanger147 I mean nothing is certain for now. Treyarch gave us the clues. We'll find out eventually. Even if Bell/Case were just throw-away character.
@@th3f1rsthunt3r4He called Bell a loose end. Adler wouldn't let Bell live, especially after Bell learned the truth. The only way Bell lived is if he somehow escaped after getting shot and that's very unlikely. Bell is almost certainly dead and Case is just some unlucky guy who was injected with some funny green gas.
Idk maybe they reinvented bell? The CIA is a organization where probably the most devious crap goes on so maybe they just did some plastic surgery to make it look like he is American and somehow convinced him he is American but now without him being a puppet of adler
I really don’t think Case is Bell. There is never an implication that Case was field tested. They make it seem like he had been under constant supervision at the Advanced Technologies and Applications building, being experimented on until he snapped. Bell on the other hand was active in the field in 1981 until Adler killed him. Prior to that we know Bell was working for Perseus, not being experimented on by the Pantheon division. I think the fact that Adler was working there 10 years ago (1981) is just meant to connect that he was working on shady brainwashing programs at the time, that being Bell. Adler says he was aware there were other experiments going on in the building, but he wasn’t necessarily involved in them. There were different divisions within the building, and I don’t necessarily think Adler was working for Pantheon during his time there (while it was still a legitimate CIA division).
@@garensandler365well I don’t think woods would just be like “hey bell what’s up” I’m sure Adler would reciprocate the info to woods letting him know the truth. Obviously they want to keep away the truth at all costs but idk if case really is bell.
Not to mention the fact Case is always mentioned as a volunteer, even by his inner monolog. And the fact Case seems to be American born and bred while Bell is Russian
@@rings2085I don't get why Bell is the primary suspect, especially since the characters don't recognize him. Moreover, it's illogical that Adler shoots Bell in Cold War and then subjects him to CIA brainwashing again, just so he can continue working for them, despite Bell's voluntary involvement in taking down Perseus.
Yea I agree with this also they said not everyone in the CIA knew about Pantheon and I’m sure Adler is in that category mainly because he found out about Pantheon from Hudson
I think we might get the definitive answer in the seasonal cutscenes all i want to know is if Jane Harrow helped Menendez back in Panama he is 90% likely but it was never definitively answered that she helped Raul Menendez
@@austinfairley5659 Same i just wished we saw like Harrow making a phone call or deal with Menendez before Hudson was captured. Adler did say Hudson knew of Pantheon so my guess is that Harrow made a deal with Menendez to get rid of him.
@ exactly that could have been the plot twist or some fan service towards the ending. Maybe he will be an operator and he will be in one of the seasonal cutscenes. Wish the “mole” had better reasoning and they fleshed it out better.
@@NovaDaGoat I’m hoping one season is a flashback season. they could add menendez and maybe hudson as a MP & WZ characters and give us that part of the story
Case was the reason why i was very invested with the BO6 campaign. I thought he would be like another Bell. Sadly, the final mission left me very disappointed with the story because of Harrow taking a great chunk of it.
I saw someone else comment on another video that all through out the campaign Marshall and Adler both repeatedly tell Case “It’s your call” or “it’s up to you” (I can’t remember exactly) and they had speculated those are cases trigger words like bells were “we got a job to do”
Case is alive, he survived the crash, because of cradle. In the end scene with livingstone you can see all the main characters plus 1. There is a guy outside of the vehicle where adler is seen in the driving seat. Case is a white a dude and so was the guy outside the vehicle in the end scene. A guy that we never see throughout the playthrough. Also the voice in his head is jane harrow's. That's just what I believe. He could also be bell as well but Im not so sure about that.
@@KingShibeCalderon is a Spanish last name. He doesn’t have to be indigenous he could very well be a guy from Spain lol. You expect him to look like a typical Mexican guy bc his last name is soanish or what
Referring to your ending explained video: Case was never in the meeting giving he is we call it a low rank character so there’s no way he will sitting behind Livingstone seeing his teamate suspended and doing nothing and the 2nd mission with Sevati where we have to kill the guild, there is a male voice and he knows Case and we know it wasn’t Livingstone giving Pantheon don’t know who he is from Gusev so yeah.
And how did you came to the conclusion that he's a low rank member? We don't know have much information on him but from what we have seen he is held in high regard why would a low rank be held in high regard with this much respect anyways he was part of marshall and harrows team so why wouldn't Livingstone apprehend him too he's not only there team member but he was in that same mission that they screwed up he really can't be a low rank character cuz we have seen him always being send on high ranking important missions he's has to be in the same caliber as them maybe he's younger so he won't have the same experience but he's still important so as I have said before a few times he's definitely not some low rank and if he's part of harrows team who's a higher up of cia I doubt that he could ever be a low rank sorry but your theory doesn't make sense Anyways there could be only 4 possibilities why case wasn't there 1) Livingstone knew that case was brainwashed and experimented on and he doesn't trust case 2) case got injured somehow during the mission so he's resting somewhere 3) case does separate missions with other cia members or maybe he does separate solo missions so that's why he wasn't there 4) the developers didn't put case in the scene because case is like a created character even tho case is not like a created character at all bell was a created character case already had a name and gender
@@kpopfan8109 when I said low rank member, it more like that character that wasn’t too important in that situation and just like any cod games we played (example: Soap CoD 4, Roach Mw2 classic, Bell Cold war, and still much more To answer your possibilities too: 1. Could be but hard to tell giving Livingstone wasn’t part of Pantheon from Gusev’s intel 2. Probably just like emergence mission 3. No way, because he went with Woods and Marshall to the rook right after that meeting 4. Case is more like Soap in cod4 or Roach where he isn’t a created character like Bell where we can see him has lots of hair in his hands and also has a male voice when hearing him grunting after getting punched
Case is definitely Bell, you could already see the writer thought process going "if we ties these lore closely, we'll get more content creator speculate Bell is Case thus free publicity"
Except for the fact the park and Sims don't recognize him. For park you can explain it as Case has a balaclava on but we never see case during the mission with sims
Not only that but Bell is Russian and would have a recognizable voice. Parks, Sims, and Woods would recognize his voice. And Case seems American born and bred unlike Bell
Actually we do see case on the mission, look closely behind Adler during the cutscene when he’s interrogating Gustav, there’s some guy who’s face is all covered up
Its the Cradle. Its a bio weapon and Case is tripping his absolute balls off. Not to mention, as noted by his psyche, he views the directors as monsters and would see them worse than the others. IMO the cradle is a gas that causes people to see these zombie like things, and along with heightened agression, would cause mass hysteria as random ppl just start tearing each other apart becuase they are seeing monsters attack them. The bosses are Case's hatred for the Directors becoming "physical"
@@rings2085 I think it’s just a little strange that he could conjure up something like an abomination, disciple, etc. but I can see how one would imagine a zombie or zombies, pop culture references and such. I would think it would be more on the lines of shadowy figures (like how the bosses are black), or just bigger versions of regular zombies for the directors. It’s just oddly specific but really cool to see. however, my interpretation doesn’t fit with the narrative of the rest of zombies so far so it’s completely not the case. (haha)
Well the voice in his head calls the people who experimented on him monsters. The voice in his head is probably a split personality brought on as a side effect of the cradle, so I'd say it's safe to assume her thoughts and feelings are also Case's. He views the "directors" as monsters and that's how they manifest in his broken mind. Them being actual boss zombies from the game mode was probably just a fun little way to add them into a campaign without canonizing them.
To be honest the voice inside of Case head is actually Jane because if you hear it very clearly they similar and I believe that Jane was the one who knows about case before working with Marshal.
In the cast list on IMDB a different person is listed as "the voice in Case's head/Security Voice" their name is Misty Lee So it's not Harrow in Case's head
This might be cope but I think case is alive. It sounds like the helicopter door breaks open from the pressure of jane and case which could make sense since case is basically a super soldier he might have the power to break it open. Then it sounds like water when we fade to black. So maybe he escaped?
@@rings2085 oh yeah, when he was in the chopper with woods and hallucinated reznov opening the door (all the stuff alex saw reznov do, was actually him doing it alone)
Then could it be possible that so is harrow. After all we didn't really see her death. We saw dragovich's death by Mason from drowning, so we know he died, but could she be another Graves.
@@Karma_mrcoolman Case did a similar thing to Mason to Dragovich to Harrow. Only he just strangles the fuck out of her. She's dead, but Case couldve survived
11:00 I think it did happen, as hallucinations, but happened. Why? Because on the coms you can hear Sev and Marshal talk about hearing gunshots on our end, which means we had to actually have fired our weapon at the hallucinations for this to happen (or maybe just pressed the trigger while having a seizure, but I like the hallucinations theory better)
After the Zombie mission, go up to Felix bedroom and look at the table. There's a note from Felix, translated from german to english, that says that Case screams in his sleep, making the others uneasy.
@demonwolfsunefurrygreyjedi Well he's obviously not Non-Binary, and I just don't see Bell being the only female member of Perseus, especially during the 80's.
@@SilkKreepso? The devs let you be female, so Bell is not obviously male. You can't lie about a game to try and form a legitimate theory. This theory is dead in the water, like Bell.
Who else gets a control vibe from the gas mission. The telephones, voices in your head. The mutated creatures. Loved the mission because it reminded me of control.
You're right, but it can be even simpler than that. Bill is a nickname for William, Case's supposed name. Bill is also one letter off from Bell. Bill=Bell.
Hey bro, i havent watched your videos since mw1 and the warzone 1 story stuff. I just had to say though, having looked down at my phone for the first time halfway through the video, you look fantastic man. I dont know if its getting fit, beard being trimmed up, or something new with the hair, but you definitely look great man
If you use the car in the open world Iraq mission you can see Case. He’s hooded the same as Bell’s character model was. One thing that was missed though is the audio messages from clearing out the Pantheon camps on the same mission. Talks about 2 brothers being experimented on. Since I played it I figured it was one in the same with Case, one made it out one didn’t
Good video, definitely need that video on Harrow, feel like that ending scene in the chopper is not as clear, because there were quite loud sounds from the wreck, and possibly Case realizes Jane was basically begging at the end. Or both died. But Livingstone simply said "with Harrow gone", that might mean she's either dead with Case, the wreck hasn't been found or is still alive.
A basic rule of call of duty is if you don't see the character die, they're not dead. Case is probably alive because he's basically a super human and he was hyped up from the Cradle he released in the helicopter. Harrow might be alive too. Livingston says she's gone but doesn't say she's dead, so she might be locked up somewhere.
@deadshotruby6667 yeah especially because they introduce her backstory and then kill her off? Doesnt make too much sense to me, so I think both Case and Harrow are alive, especially since Harrow seems to know Case for longet
So would Sims, and Woods who we spend so much time with. They would all have to be in on it, which was true with Bell up to the end of Cold War but I just don't see it here. Then Bell goes away a while and comes back as Case, and everyone is wondering why Adler is treating him as someone different. Would be a cool twist but I don't think it lines up.
I think case is bell because he reacts or starts going crazy when the cradle or phantom are mentioned just like bell hearing the words we got a job to do. It would be cool if after cold war we see stitch and some russian soldiers on a hill looking for any signs of adler but what they find instead is someone alse that being bell still alive but barely. It turns out that after adler and bell shot each bell was hit in a non vital part of his body so stitch says this is just the advantage we need so stitch orders his men to take bell back to their secret base to be treated for his wounds. We now switch to bell in room on a bed when he comes to he sees bandages around his lower body near his rib cage.
Interesting theory, it definitely merits further scrutiny. Although, notably, there wasn’t any discernible reaction from Park in her interactions with Case.
After the Kentucky Mission there is an instance where you tried to tell Woods about yourself that you are a human subject for Cradle experiment but the voice inside Case's mind will control and resist to speak.
Its not. Its a fragmented voice from Case's pysche, basically the cradle personified in his head and was created to cope with the shit that was going on. Id say thats a bit more plausible than Harrow, because there is 0 evidence of Harrow having ANYTHING to do with Case during his experiments. Hell Pantheon wasnt even a thing in 81
I just finished the campaign, I assume he is Harrow’s baby brother. Pantheon killed the parents to take the kids, two children of top CIA agents. Case was a baby, Harrow partly remembers being saved by them. They were separated- possibly because the violent tendencies caused by Cradle.
Also the facility called Advanced Technology and applications when we do the mission where case starts to hallucinates what interesting of the 4 directors is that 3 of them are zombies from zombie lore .. while the last one is a mannequin that has hairstyle like adler .. I might be just trippin but I believe he could be one of the directors for the last 5th one .. I am not sure about that could it be you as a zombie or I don't know (but this is only a theory)
The only problem is Adler was only there for a few weeks/months. Not only that but Case is friendly with Adler, Case's monolog calls the Directors monsters and if Adler was a Director Id expect Case to practically go crazy whenever he's around him. Id say the Directors being bigger boss zombies are because Case sees them as monsters, more of a monster than the employees doing the experiments. He volunteered and theyre just doing their job, but the directors caused this
@ I actually wonder something where are the directors now and we also know in Cold War a person named Black is also in black ops 6 and is one of the scientists his voice is distinct … I wonder what are they trying to do it seems too obvious. Also where the hell is Ratcliffe ( the actor for ratcliffe said he would be in new black ops game which should be this but we don’t see him anywhere the only possibility they changed his name or he will will be introduced later)
@@theretroaiden2107 no idea who Ratcliffe could be, but somebody suggested something rlly interesting on one of Ink's other vids. The guy said what if the Directors, all 5, after their divisions disolved became the cabal of Pantheon. They were most likely put back into the CIA just somewhere else and they were the ones who created Pantheon
Ngl it'd be nice of them to make a black ops game where the ending isn't a happy one, make it so Harrow does release cradle then they make a next campaign/warzone map dedicated to fighting this "cradle" as appose to just dedicate one game to a "start" and a "finish" personal preference obviously but would LOVE to see a campaign like this be left on a cliff-hanger than a happy ending
Wait if case was the first and last from the cradle project then who was the two brothers that were also experimented on? I think it was in the Kuwait mission where u find the recordings and the scientist mention brothers or something
Maybe case and bell are the brothers 81-91 is only a ten year difference you play as bell while case is still be experimented on bell dies then adler comes and picks case up
@@cwgamez2063after rewatching it i noticed for Case they mention “first and last volunteer” meaning that he was the only volunteer while the program was still funded by the CIA and so the brothers that I mentioned were probably were forced into experimenting after Pantheon was no longer under the CIA since they probably needed test subjects for their new bio weapon
Not only did both brothers die, but they were a 91 experiment not 81 as evidenced by the use of the altered Cradle and Gusev being the scientist on the tapes. While i was playing it i thought that too but it quickly became obvious that it wasnt especially when they started saying Case was the only experiment
The character at the end of the game was one of the CIA agents in the lobby of the Gala looking for you. Which makes me think it's Jackson Caine not Case
In the Emergence mission, Marshall says over the comms at one point something along the lines of "Sev is that gunfire?" cause they can hear it through Case's mic. So I'm guessing he was actually walking around doing stuff and shooting and fighting things he was hallucinating
14:16 If you watch the cutscene case is in the car at the end of the game, then switches places to be standing outside the car with Adler being in the driver seat during the last custscene.
My main issue with Case being Bell is the fact that we run into Park and Sims from Cold War as Case, and they don't seem put off by "Bell" being treated as and acting as a different person. Especially Sims since he had been astray from Adler so he wouldn't have known about any of this.
I saw a play through of bo6. When the bio weapon site mission was up, I was like if case had a voice, he’d probably say, “alright, let’s investigate. But if there’s any Zombies running around in there I’m gone.”
Here's my theory, the reason why we can't see case's character model is because he is hallucinating all of the events that have happened in black ops 6. I've particularly thought of this at the end of the game when case beats up harrow, she says "case, it's me" leading me to think that case was actually hallucinating that fight, like in emergence when he was hallucinating zombies while marshall was trying to snap case out of it, and that in reality, he was having a seizure like he had in emergence. Edit: The guy recording in the beginning is DEFINITELY caine, same as in the end when you see him in livingstone's office
Harrow probably said that cuz she was snapping out of her brain washing. Hence why she’s saying “I understand now” and “we can get out of this”. Also wouldn’t the hullicination be more obvious? The whole situation seemed surreal
Cod Cold War(1981) takes place 10 years before Cod BO6 (1991), we also know that Adler started working at that lab around the same time and Bell was also shot by Adler around the same time… seems like they’re cooking something up.
Hey man! Big fan of the story content you put out so I thought you’d appropriate a theory. Now this is a stretch as it piggybacks off the “Case is Bell” theory. You know how that theory goes that how Alder mortally wounds Bell at the end of Cold War, takes him in to the research division and rebrainwashes or “resets” him as Case. What if multiple if not most of our multiplayer characters are brainwashed characters in the same fashion. If you recall in Cold War the multiplayer operator Harry Stone is a former SAS operator turned mercenary. In BO6 Stone is a code name for MacKenzie Carver who’s an American operator in Crimson 1, Now this could be an entirely different Stone, a redoing of the character, or just laziness/negligence but I don’t think coincidence exists in the black ops franchise
I was just gonna say this watching the video and hearing it again! I never clocked it when I was playing, but in this vid it sounded eerily similar to her, I agree!
It cant be. Harrow has no connection to APT, which would become Pantheon after its shutdown in '81. Itd make ZERO sense for it to be. It's more likely a fragmented inner psyche made to cope with the experiments he was put thru
Adler didn't kill Bell....he perfected him. "Separation: Case 1".
yeooo that would be crazyyy
I mean Case did seem to be in the Cradle program back in 1981, the same year that BOCW takes place so it’s possible that after shooting Bell, Adler re-brainwashed him with MKUltra causing Bell to volunteer for Cradle or he survived and Bell was ashamed of his past and volunteered for Cradle which Adler started working on.
Maybe bell was severely injured after cold war and Adler saw it as a opportunity and re brainwashed him
@DMCfan189 but case being drugged and being a test subject couple years before cold war I'm assuming wouldnt make sense he would be bell bc wouldnt he be tripping like he did in bo6?
Instead they put the Harrow mission at the end which felt so out of touch with the game but works for explaining her motivation, but Case story could have been so much better if they focused on it
p sure case's story is gonna be focused on in the seasonal story

Bell might still be dead but there is some evidence he's alive. One last reason is that they call him "Case ONE"as if he has to be reminded that he was the first. There are some plot holes like he was an experiment so he might be the very first experiment.I just finished the vid and why did he have the eye dilation stuff? @ and I’ll be honest, I bet cause Bell was a good asset in helping with Perseus, I believe there were “moles” in the CIA during Cold War so it’s a possibility Perseus and Pantheon could’ve crossed paths and which is why Perseus seemed so heavily geared up and if I’m not mistaken, we didn’t really get an answer on who really framed Adler and why, so my theory was that it was Bell who framed him, he was alive and joined Pantheon, was able to use some connections and even his own to help frame Adler but now, maybe I’m wrong but I really do hope we get a confirmation on if Bell survived (which he probably didn’t) or if he’s dead
i wouldn’t lol it would make no sense at all

th-cam.com/video/xC9wejC95L4/w-d-xo.html
Spoilers below
I get why Bell was a silent protagonist in Cold War, and it’s not because of player customization of Bell’s gender or nationality, but because Bell would have a Russian accent and that would give away his origin.

Case reminds me a lot of Roach from MW2. Very mysterious, we never saw his face or heard his voice, yet we were with him for a majority of the game.

I don't believe Case is Bell bc Adler would be saying and acting as if he gotta keep Bell from talking, Woods for sure ends up saying something, so Case is not Bell - there be wayyy more hidden easter eggs about Perseus, Stitch, etc
Adler was someone working ATA so he understands better how Case works
Case cannot be Mason cause Woods, Adler would be chatting nonstop and plotting to get back at Menendez first before Pantheon

@@srowb I found those audio logs too, and, without any evidence, just a hunch, I think Case and Bell were actually brothers

Also, wouldn't Woods have recognized him?
@@garensandler365well I don’t think woods would just be like “hey bell what’s up” I’m sure Adler would reciprocate the info to woods letting him know the truth. Obviously they want to keep away the truth at all costs but idk if case really is bell.

@@rings2085I don't get why Bell is the primary suspect, especially since the characters don't recognize him. And how did you came to the conclusion that he's a low rank member? We don't know have much information on him but from what we have seen he is held in high regard why would a low rank be held in high regard with this much respect anyways he was part of marshall and harrows team so why wouldn't Livingstone apprehend him too he's not only there team member but he was in that same mission that they screwed up he really can't be a low rank character cuz we have seen him always being send on high ranking important missions he's has to be in the same caliber as them maybe he's younger so he won't have the same experience but he's still important so as I have said before a few times he's definitely not some low rank and if he's part of harrows team who's a higher up of cia I doubt that he could ever be a low rank sorry but your theory doesn't make sense
Anyways there could be only 4 possibilities why case wasn't there
1) Livingstone knew that case was brainwashed and experimented on and he doesn't trust case
2) case got injured somehow during the mission so he's resting somewhere
3) case does separate missions with other cia members or maybe he does separate solo missions so that's why he wasn't there
4) the developers didn't put case in the scene because case is like a created character even tho case is not like a created character at all bell was a created character case already had a name and gender
@@kpopfan8109 when I said low rank member, it more like that character that wasn’t too important in that situation and just like any cod games we played (example: Soap CoD 4, Roach Mw2 classic, Bell Cold war, and still much more
To answer your possibilities too:
1. Could be but hard to tell giving Livingstone wasn’t part of Pantheon from Gusev’s intel
2. Probably just like emergence mission
3. No way, because he went with Woods and Marshall to the rook right after that meeting

11:15 nah it happened, Marshall says “I don’t even know how you got up here” implying he did open the lift
Actually we do see case on the mission, look closely behind Adler during the cutscene when he’s interrogating Gustav, there’s some guy who’s face is all covered up
The mission actually happened because they said “they were surprised that he made it all the way to him “
Not only that but the gunfire, Case being in a completely different area, and the fact the zombies are easily explained as the effects of the cradle
It actually happened, but Case was either killing Soldiers (the zombies flash as pantheon or people) or hallucinating entirely.
case is a good representation of what an actual person with his abilities would be like in real life if it was taken from COD.
That captain America joke was subtle foreshadowing now I think about it
I wonder why he can imagine zombies and zombie bosses, from a gameplay perspective it’s placeholder-y but still weird to think about.
It’s almost like he has seen aetherium, within advanced technologies or pantheon. They would’ve weaponized it too tho so, probably not.
In the cast list on IMDB a different person is listed as "the voice in Case's head/Security Voice" their name is Misty Lee
So it's not Harrow in Case's head
This might be cope but I think case is alive. It sounds like the helicopter door breaks open from the pressure of jane and case which could make sense since case is basically a super soldier he might have the power to break it open. Then it sounds like water when we fade to black. So maybe he escaped?
Its extremely possible Case is alive, after all Mason did a similar thing in Vietnam did he not?
@@rings2085 oh yeah, when he was in the chopper with woods and hallucinated reznov opening the door (all the stuff alex saw reznov do, was actually him doing it alone)

11:00 I think it did happen, as hallucinations, but happened. Why? Because on the coms you can hear Sev and Marshal talk about hearing gunshots on our end, which means we had to actually have fired our weapon at the hallucinations for this to happen (or maybe just pressed the trigger while having a seizure, but I like the hallucinations theory better)
has to be caseoh
I hope he plays the campaign just for his namesake
Oooooh, it's gonna be awesome when they're actually talking to him as "case", I love that 😂 I wonder if he'll like it too
*falls through safe house floor*
@@shinbetEi know why he fell in emergence now 😂
“Bishop eats rook”
16:33 it is Caine bro , go to campagin than click the gala Mission than after you do this thing with mc Kenna Caine will appear.
Adler gave an order, but he didn't say the magic words.
After the Zombie mission, go up to Felix bedroom and look at the table. There's a note from Felix, translated from german to english, that says that Case screams in his sleep, making the others uneasy.
Bro every time I got called Case in the campaign I couldn't stop thinking about Caseoh
Who’s Case? Case was my dog
😂
You can see case in the mission where you have to blow up the missel, you see him when driving the car
MISSILES?
Yes, and he’s totally covered head to toe. So what’s your point?
Bell is a: yes. We can choose Bell's gender in Cold War
But Bell is obviously, canonically male.
@SilkKreep how do you know that...?
@demonwolfsunefurrygreyjedi Well he's obviously not Non-Binary, and I just don't see Bell being the only female member of Perseus, especially during the 80's.
@SilkKreep eh, fair enough
@@SilkKreepso? The devs let you be female, so Bell is not obviously male.
You can't lie about a game to try and form a legitimate theory.
This theory is dead in the water, like Bell.
0:47 you can actually see case in the "Hunting Season" mission while you're driving the car, he has a mask tho
Who else gets a control vibe from the gas mission. The telephones, voices in your head. The mutated creatures. Loved the mission because it reminded me of control.
That is what I was thinking reminded me a lot of that game
Yesss
16:57 man why does everyone say cauldronits calderón
IDC what anybody says but i LOVED this part of the game. I was legit scared but fascinated of the story of Case what he went through.
Emergence became one of my top 5 CoD missions personally. Definitely my favorite Black Ops mission.
I will forever question why Case wasn't a main driving point of the game, his story was so interesting and they just did nothing with it.
I swear the voice in our head is the voice actor for jane harrow
Perhaps “Case” is the friends we made along the way….
Case is easily one of the best characters that you can play as in a campaign.
You're right, but it can be even simpler than that. Bill is a nickname for William, Case's supposed name. Bill is also one letter off from Bell. Bill=Bell.
if you look in the mission hunting season. you can see he has a model but it's a very default character model, if you sit in one of the cars.
Hey bro, i havent watched your videos since mw1 and the warzone 1 story stuff. I just had to say though, having looked down at my phone for the first time halfway through the video, you look fantastic man. I dont know if its getting fit, beard being trimmed up, or something new with the hair, but you definitely look great man
Guess this case isn’t open and shut?
“I was never in Bulgaria/Vorkuta/that helicopter.”
@ or in hiding, planning her next move.
@deadshotruby6667 yeah especially because they introduce her backstory and then kill her off? Doesnt make too much sense to me, so I think both Case and Harrow are alive, especially since Harrow seems to know Case for longet
That is a very good theory @Inkslasher . This is why I love your videos.
The only weird thing about this theory is that Park would recognise Bell correct me if I’m wrong.
They all would bc of his voice
@@TOXICYT2016bell didn’t talk though
@owenkamp2001 he did with dialog they just didn't give him voice lines theres a mission in coldwar they did that with mason
@ with woods you mean
Case is Jason Bourne
the mission had to have happened, the other two mentioned hearing gunfire so I don't think he was in a seizure the ENTIRE time, just at the end there
You can see case in the sas mission when your in a car and for a few seconds in a cutscene
yep he’s wearing a mask and some goggles as always
Interesting theory, it definitely merits further scrutiny. Although, notably, there wasn’t any discernible reaction from Park in her interactions with Case.
I felt like the voice in Case's head sounded kinda like Harrow, but who knows
Yea I was thinking the same thing, and also case talks very briefly in the campaign, and to me the voice doesn’t sound familiar
@owenkamp2001 when does case talk?
@ a couple of times during the campaign he only says a couple of word but he talks in like two cutscenes
@@owenkamp2001 'Gauugh" and "heeyggh" kinda don't count.
After the Kentucky Mission there is an instance where you tried to tell Woods about yourself that you are a human subject for Cradle experiment but the voice inside Case's mind will control and resist to speak.
Played every cod campaign this is one of my favorites definitely.
Pantheon = Cerberus
Jane harrow
Jackson Caine
Unknown leader
yall know who’s voice that kinda sounds like…
What if that’s somehow jane harrows alter ego that we saw in those final missions
Its not. Its a fragmented voice from Case's pysche, basically the cradle personified in his head and was created to cope with the shit that was going on. Id say thats a bit more plausible than Harrow, because there is 0 evidence of Harrow having ANYTHING to do with Case during his experiments. Hell Pantheon wasnt even a thing in 81
Facts
I was still tripping when a lot of the zombies became Woods for a bit
Which makes me think it's Jackson Caine not Case
its obviously caseoh's secret idenity
13:13 hehe “case is on the case”
Also, case is the case that needs to be solved
If case ever gave a briefing, would he become a briefcase?
In the Emergence mission, Marshall says over the comms at one point something along the lines of "Sev is that gunfire?" cause they can hear it through Case's mic. So I'm guessing he was actually walking around doing stuff and shooting and fighting things he was hallucinating
14:16 If you watch the cutscene case is in the car at the end of the game, then switches places to be standing outside the car with Adler being in the driver seat during the last custscene.
Isn't that Felix?
@@Tri_77 No. If you look at the cutscene you can see Case wearing his mask that he does in other missions that you can see him in,
"Yeah I know him he's me" (literally my middle name)
Caseoh’s backstory leaked
My main issue with Case being Bell is the fact that we run into Park and Sims from Cold War as Case, and they don't seem put off by "Bell" being treated as and acting as a different person. Especially Sims since he had been astray from Adler so he wouldn't have known about any of this.
Case is the first subject for the cradle play emergence n pay attention to the phone calls
Dude in the video literally says he was the first and last experiment maybe watch thru the whole thing before commenting?
@ProGamer-lk9qw exactly hes the first. The scientist refers to him as case one play the game idiot🤣

That's even a worse theory than the Alex Mason one
@@toedtick6178 wdym worse, I'd say this one is valid
Harrow probably said that cuz she was snapping out of her brain washing. Hence why she’s saying “I understand now” and “we can get out of this”. Also wouldn’t the hullicination be more obvious? The whole situation seemed surreal
nah because in the mission hunting season you can literally see case driving the car so im p sure its js a bug
@@wtfman5795 Nah, she was just trying to trick him, didn't worked
Cod Cold War(1981) takes place 10 years before Cod BO6 (1991), we also know that Adler started working at that lab around the same time and Bell was also shot by Adler around the same time… seems like they’re cooking something up.
Caseoh obviously
I'm pretty sure 'The Voice' is Jane Harrow
I was just gonna say this watching the video and hearing it again! I never clocked it when I was playing, but in this vid it sounded eerily similar to her, I agree!
imdb has a different actor as the Voice in case's head
It cant be. Harrow has no connection to APT, which would become Pantheon after its shutdown in '81. Itd make ZERO sense for it to be. It's more likely a fragmented inner psyche made to cope with the experiments he was put thru
