I loved the footage of the bison running along side your truck and then stopping exactly when you did. How exciting to be a part of moving the park herd!!! What an honor. Look forward to watching that video!!
Seeing the bison putting some speed into following the truck is one of my more enjoyable scenes. It is interesting how you are trying to mix up genetics for diversity and strength. I am so glad that you keep up your situational awareness, even when filming, they are amazing and yet wild beasts.
I love the drone views. Those pastures are looking great, so are the ponds. They have filled up. Crooked horn is beautiful. You were lucky to be able to be around him when he was alive. What awesome memories, especially since he got you interested to give you your passion for your own bison .
Cole does an amazing job with the video! Love to see his work! Was wondering how Eleanor was doing? She and Dunbar will always be my favorites! You and Marissa have done a wonderful job with the Bison and the Cross Timbers ranch! Blessings!
You now have quite a herd in the yearlings! I hate that the newbies were pushed around, but that's the way it goes. I knew your love for the bison had gotten started with the Park Service. It will be interesting to see the herd size that you'll be helping to move! Thanks for the great aerial footage, Cole!
❤ the history of where your journey started! How exciting to be able to go back to your roots & help them move their herd. I’m sure they are not as well behaved & trained as yours are but still exciting. Hope you & your family had a wonderful Easter!
WOW !! Your drone shots sure show the reception your two new Bison got from the 'old' herd who kept chasing them to leave ! As Dusty explained, he was not too sure why he they do that, other than to establish their pecking order !! Herd animals tend to establish a pecking order so they know where they stand in the herd !! Very interesting, I must say.
Thank you once again for that breath of fresh air! Your pastures are really beautiful and the bison are so incredible to see. That drone footage was a real treat! Thank you for sharing the beginnings of your journey! Can't wait to see the pasture move!!!!
Love how they see you and greet you your like the head Bison! Love them running. Your pastures are beautiful green hope they stay that way all summer for you.
My parents and I started with chickens given to me at 9 years old, from there we had rabbits, ducks, goats, guineas. My parents were raised with horses and cattle. No matter what group of animals you have they all go through this when new animals are introduced, they interact and a new pecking order is established with additions anywhere in between
Should be interesting moving the wild bison... I wonder if long term if it might not be better to make a small underpass below 177 where maybe you can gate both sides, and you could drive them thru to rotate pastures... or would underground, even a few feet, spook them?
Thank you for sharing those great drone videos. I love when part of the herd comes running up the fence line and then the others come down the hill. All in all, I'd put this in the top 10 videos. Well done guys.
Good evening, Dusty and all of CTB. You can really see the difference between the pastures in the drone footage! It is good to see some new green growth. Happy Easter and hugs from N.C..❤️✝️
I've been to the park and seen the bison because I live a short drive away. I thank you for taking care of these majestic animals and love your videos.
Happy Easter to you all !! Love seeing the drown footage .. it’s so beautiful to see and I hate the new Bison was pushed around so much ,, but I understand them being territorial. Big Joe is looking so majestic as always .. such a beauty !! Hoss just being Hoss .. lol . Loved seeing the visitors center and where it all started for you Dusty ! Can’t wait to see the transporting the Bison to new pasture ! Blessings to you all! Great drown footage Cole !!
Something to consider when you're adding new animals to an already existing little herd....unload the new ones after moving the little herd to new grazing. That way, they are distracted by the new grazing and might not be quite so hard on the new introductions. Just a thought.
...... hope you and family shared the day...Happy Easter ... I think as you stated it is the natural pecking order for the 5 bison that are looking for a herd to join ... you likely know best ...and being the great farmer you are ... you will take mental note ...
Beautiful! Love the bison. I didn’t know they could run backwards but it looked like one did for a few paces. Hoss is coming out to be a handsome handful like Big Joe😁
Hi Dusty Great video Bison are curious about the horse They are adapting well. Pasture is looking great and green. Watching the bison is magical and beautiful. God bless and love yall ❤❤
Happy Easter to All of u, especially little Brooks. Looking good Dusty. I know it is a lot of work, but it is worth it. Hang tough u Guys. Great job as well to Cole. Take care and be Careful u guys.
Happy Easter Dusty & family. Wonderful to see how big your herd is now, I'm so happy to see the "new kids on the block". I look forward to seeing the new red dogs too. Will certainly watch the relocation of that massive herd by truck, Why dont they build a tunnel under the road, we have them here in South Africa?? Good luck
I like and love the music play and the animal running in open space at the same time. Remind me when I was in the farm in my country, lovely Puerto Rico. I enjoyed watching the videos. You doing a good job.
Awesome video Dusty. So we now know how you started as an intern & very young looking. Nice story regarding Crooked Horn. This story with you & your family keeps getting better each & every time. Happy Easter to your entire family & please tell Cole the video & music we’re spot on. 🐣🐣🐣🥙
Happy Easter Dusty, Marissa, Brooke's & to your mom & step dad🐇🪻🐥🌻❤ God Bless you all.. The last two are like la de da. Lol Enjoyed the video👍🙏🪻 Can't wait to see that video 😊
I’m an Oklahoma girl……haven’t been home in 30 years. Going home this summer. As a girl we took school trips from OKC to Sulpher Springs. I WILL visit that center.
Great video Kevin, love your drove coverage. Glad you were able to get a job at the national park service center by your home, I am always looking forward to seeing your next video coming out, love " Betty " she just wants to be part of the video you know. ❤❤❤.
The drone footage is so good. Love it, thank you. Seeing the natural reactions within herd life of selection on the hierarchy pole is so obvious when seen from above. Sooooo interesting. Thank you, guys.
The Bison are absolutely gorgeous and majestic. I can say they are quite intimidating when are touring Yellowstone Park in winter on snowmobile. My dad ended up so close the visor of his helmet fogged up.😅😅
Look at all of them. The heard is getting so big. They are wonderful to watch run. I am so grateful for your videos and just love watching them. Thank. You for this wonderful experience that we wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for you. 👍🏻👍🏻Donna/Northern MIchigan
Hello Dusty have you ever thought about having double gates ? So you can enter with out them getting in your way and to make sure that they can't escape when you're entering. Enter the gate get out of the vehicle and close the gate behind you open the gate in front of you and pull forward.
You should adapt a plastic 30 gallon barrel by putting a 3 inch pvc pipe out of the bottom of the barrel that way you could fill it with cubes and let them feed out as you drive.
Hope we get to see the move. I'm from the East Coast and we had a buffalo farm about 2 miles up the road from our house. Great story about the first animal, I think they're awesome!
Wondering if you should maybe look into retractable gates with cattle guards. So when you travel from one pasture to another you dont have to worry about the bison escaping by. In the middle of the fence maybe and keep the gates you have.
I’ve been following you for awhile ever since you bought those young heifers from the Wolverine ranch near Humboldt. I live in Regina about 130 miles southeast of there. I have noticed a few things like seeing the name Quill Lake , Sk on things like the fencing used to load the Buffalo on a ranch you were at that was south of you( they were friends of a friend if I remember right)
Well, I have thought of this a long time and now I will share. We lived in Alaska for 25 years and had a neighbor 2 miles away that had bison. Well one day driving down eielsonfarm road, the neighbors 70 bison had gotten out and were in a large pack close together. Spampedding down the gravel road. They took up the whole road and I was in a small Chevy Corsica. All I could do is pull over Bison don’t look where they are going except for the front of the pack. All was fine until one bison started to dance in front of my car. Not fun thing. Needless to say the next time they got out and I was driving down the road, I turned around and went 20 miles out of my way to get away from them. I hope you enjoy this. That was my experience with bison. Love watch yours on TH-cam.
I pray you all continue to get decent rains. I know for us in NW Iowa it’s supposed to be kinda dry again, which would be horrible after last year’s drought. So far we haven’t had hardly any spring rains here in my area. The Ponderosa is looking amazing right now. Love seeing the bigger herd size. I used to be mortified of bison from that darn movie White Buffalo. Until I saw Dances With Wolves in 1991. Then I have always been curious. We had 2 bison here at our conservation and recreation area for several years where I currently live. I believe one passed away and they relocated the other. I’m not sure if we have any more at this time. But I loved going on walks out there every day before all of my leg injuries. But I plan to go back this year! Plus we have beautiful Piebald deer! But love hearing more about your journey!
Love all your animals but the Bison are so majestic and so lovely to watch doing thier kind of a (trot ) run. Thank you Dusty and all the family+friends for showing these beautifull Bison. And thier different personalities. Miss not seeing Elearnor/Nora so much. How is Nora she totaly recovered from her foot issue i hope.
Dusty, your story is very neat. I have always loved the bison because I have a genuine love for the American Indian. This is what I attribute binge to. Thank you for the video. Very interesting.
I loved the footage of the bison running along side your truck and then stopping exactly when you did. How exciting to be a part of moving the park herd!!! What an honor. Look forward to watching that video!!
Watching them run together is absolutely thrilling!
Glad that there's people like you who take good care of the Bison.😊
Seeing the bison putting some speed into following the truck is one of my more enjoyable scenes. It is interesting how you are trying to mix up genetics for diversity and strength. I am so glad that you keep up your situational awareness, even when filming, they are amazing and yet wild beasts.
I love watching you talk about the Bison. The love you have for these Animals is so special and awesome to watch.
I love watching how the Bison react to each other and the way they follow.
The drone shots are spectacular.
Thank you Cole for this beautiful footage. Eleanor has her way, she's no dummy. She has you on her side
Do you film once or more daily, to let people follow you guts.
Such a beautiful sight to see them bison running!
Wow, just watching those bison run made me realise how stunning a huge stampede would be.
Enormous but beautiful too.
Yes back in early 1800’s with thousands in a moving herd. Wow!
I love the drone views. Those pastures are looking great, so are the ponds. They have filled up. Crooked horn is beautiful. You were lucky to be able to be around him when he was alive. What awesome memories, especially since he got you interested to give you your passion for your own bison .

The pastures are lookin great, the ponds are full and the bison are happy. Great work.❤
How exciting to be a part of their move. Hopefully there will be some footage. Happy Easter.
You now have quite a herd in the yearlings! I hate that the newbies were pushed around, but that's the way it goes. I knew your love for the bison had gotten started with the Park Service. Happy Easter to you, your family and everyone in the "Cross Timber Bisons" family.✝️🙏🏻🌷💐✝️♥️🙏🏻
@Cordelia Holt who The hell wants to be bothered by a sick person. People got enough problems of their own.
It is just beautiful to see them run!
❤ the history of where your journey started! How exciting to be able to go back to your roots & help them move their herd. I’m sure they are not as well behaved & trained as yours are but still exciting. Hope you & your family had a wonderful Easter!
Beautiful, the sound of them running-beautiful Nature's music!
Dusty, your part of our Okla history ! Thank you 😊 💓
It is awesome how far you have come in the past 12 months.. that first view with all the young ones on the green grass was just amazing to look at
I love to watch the bison run they are so majestic❤Happy Easter y’all

Thanks for teaching us so much about the American Bison. So interesting, and love their playful nature and curiosity.
Thank you once again for that breath of fresh air! Your pastures are really beautiful and the bison are so incredible to see. That drone footage was a real treat! Thank you for sharing the beginnings of your journey! Can't wait to see the pasture move!!!!

They weren’t even breathing hard after quite a sprint! Amazing animals, fascinating!
Good seeing things greening up for you. Looking forward to seeing the Park herd move.

I can't believe how fast your herd is growing !!
Dusty and Marisa - You sure have a great piece of land with the Ponderosa. Ideal for bison herds! Excellent purchase! 🦬🦬🦬
What a beautiful sight watching to bison running with the green pasture, pond and beautiful sky as a backdrop.
Happy Easter! How awesome that you get to be part of moving that herd!
You ARE lucky to be a part of the move!! I know you will have someone filming and I can't wait!! Thank you for another great video!
Thank you for sharing those great drone videos. I love when part of the herd comes running up the fence line and then the others come down the hill. All in all, I'd put this in the top 10 videos. Well done guys.

Seeing these majestic animals is just awe inspiring every time !
Betty is a girl with opinions about bison, and is willing to share!
The ground must rumble when they all run like that together!
I like and love the music play and the animal running in open space at the same time. Remind me when I was in the farm in my country, lovely Puerto Rico. I enjoyed watching the videos. You doing a good job.
Love the drone footage of the Bison and the full ponds. I don't know which made me happier
Thanks Cole for the great drone footage.

Great video. I’m anxious to see the moving of the
Bison at the National Park.
I recommend investing in a camera mount on your hat or chest, and that will free up both hands for things like driving.
Happy Easter Dusty, Marissa, Brooke's & to your mom & step dad🐇🪻🐥🌻❤ God Bless you all..
The last two are like la de da. Lol
Enjoyed the video👍🙏🪻 Can't wait to see that video 😊

Thanks we appreciate that history. Thanks again. ✌🏻👊

Gotta love our Canadian buffalo and native grasses untouched by man.
Happy Easter everyone looks so healthy
