Don't make fun of this small segment car from Suzuki. I am proud owner of this little car for last 3 years . I have driven 950 km in a single day on the national Highway also 600 km in a single day & by god's grace it's still running good . Ofcourse high status people will definitely make fun of this middle class segment car.
The high-status people who would make fun of your car are the kind of "high-status" people who are not very good people. So why worry about what they think? If you are making wise financial decisions and buying a car that you can afford, you are making your family's financial life better. That's more dignified than going into debt trying to impress other people.
I have this car for almost a month now. My honest opinion are as follows. CONS: 1. Better to switch to manual mode when climbing or overtaking. 2. If you have no understanding of how a manual gearbox shifts, you are in for a lot of jerkiness. 3. Body roll make you a bit nervous. Probably better to change to wider tires (offset). 4. Accelerating in D mode is a struggle. In M mode it is kind of fine. 5. There is no option to keep the EASS off permanently. You have to turn it off everytime you start the car. PROS 1. This thing is so fuel efficient. Like for real. If you drive consciously, it sips gas like some medium displacement MCs 2. Aircon is so cold. Probably because of the small cabin. 3. Roll down windows is not as inconvenient as it sounds. Also, five average Filipino adults fit okay. 4. Very easy to park, maneuver and wiggle through traffic. 5. The car itself if AFFORDABLE in every way. Cheap to purchase, operate, and maintain. It gets the job done.

I bought my ags s presso almost a month ang ganda po ng performance. I love driving my spresso compared to my 2018 ford 4x4 wildtrak pickup😂. Sa mga nag comments na na pangit mag drive test mo na kayo, kase suspension is good po, aircon is very cold, fuel efficiency is awesome, and the best po para kang nag drive ng SUV kase mataas ang upuan. Hindi mo feel na maliit ang sasakyan po pag nasa loob ka na.❤ ❤❤❤

For AGS, when you reach 2k RPM, it will automatically change gear so you have to release your foot from the accelerator otherwise, youll feel that 'hiccup' soemthing.

I have this car and I'm glad that I purchased it compare to its competitors I don't get the hiccups during slow movement but I do experience it when overtaking fuel efficiency is great I'm getting 13.5 km/L on city driving I do strongly agree that for less than 700k this one is a bang for a buck

Such a small car for a small price, i dont think you will expect more from this S-presso except gets you from point A to B with a little gas consumption.
would be nice if Suzuki releases technical video how they designed the AGS, imagine there is no transmission like this until now. Back then, when I was young, I thought automatics were designed like AGS. This is like manual trans that has motors that releases/engages the clutch then changes gear, release clutch during braking. This is more interesting than I anticipated.
You get what you pay for in terms of driving skill and effort. Manual transmissions give you a lot more precise control over acceleration and slowing down, if you learn how to use them.

You guys are missing out a beauty Suzuki has put out, Suzuki Alto Turbo RS, this is a 660cc Turbo AGS car with peddle shifters and fully loaded. 0-100 in 9 seconds. This will never come to Philippines since it is a Japanese domestic car, means only right hand drive. Check it out. City driving 18km per L. Highway driving 24Km per L.

Had the pleasure (not!) to share the road with an S-Presso going up to Baguio last Christmas. The little car can barely push 40kph uphill which backed up the traffic quite a lot.
Mas okay po kaya ito yung luwag, ground clearance, ceiling height, at power for its size kumpara sa wigi, mirage, brio, at celerio? Lalo n ngyon nk automatic na sya.
When it comes to ground clearance and luwag. Talbog niya lahat ng kakompetensiya niya, although for power I would still go for wigo/mirage pero for 700K it's a fair compromise

Same thoughts, I'd rather have power windows and manual side mirrors. You only ever adjust side mirrors once or twice but you'd use windows more often.
@@harry1583 Spresso cabin is small, very quick to cool down with its airconditioning alone. Rolling down the two front windows will help too if you must. But not necessary to open windows at the back.
AGS is a great way to go by especially to those who know how to drive manually but is already sick of using a clutch pedal like me. 😁 AGS is still more responsive and is very good when it comes to someone in a rush and has to have a responsive transmission anytime like a full blown manual vehicle. This is the next car that I am eyeing to get this 2024. ❤
Writing from America. In time you will learn, that all those lazy-person accessories make a car with more things to break over time, with expensive repairs. If you add power windows to a cheap car, you'll get cheap power windows, more likely to break.

what if Suzuki makes an AGS car variant where in the shifter resembles a MT shifter, difference is Neutral should be placed somewhere and not in the middle =) so there, we have a clutch less semi MT car =) .. downshift is also manual by the way =P

Learning is posible using a scanner, AGS is similar to other models.

Ground clearance lang advantage nito sa Brio. Otherwise the Brio is a better car if you can afford it. The 28hp difference is significant.
