Its awesom to see Chef Gordon speak on behalf of a community in the Navy most do not understand or even know exists. An area of the intelligence community that is truly niche. Its was an honor serving alongside her as a Direct Support Linguist. The rest...is classifed.

Former Marine...got out in 2009 and spent 7 years in the Middle East as a private contractor. I learned the Arabic language MSA and Gulf Dialect. I would love to come back in and join the Navy Reserves as a Cryptolinguist - Arabic and serve again.

What score must you receive on the ASVAB to qualify or be considered for this position? As well as on the DLAB?

      red425ful ASVAB: VE + MK + GS = 165 (plus a minimum DLAB score of 110)

What does it mean qualify for a security clearance?

It means your entire background will be throughly investigated for truthfulness and accuracy. All your character references will be interviewed.
