Spirited Away town in Jiufen(九份), Taiwan! Exploring the old town!

The old town of Jiufen was an old mining town in Taiwan. It is said that the author of spirited was inspired by this old town and incorporated some of the aspects of this town in its cartoon!
I take walk in the town to see what there is here; its was pretty alive with lots to try and do. I tried some local tea and walked around the town and inquired what was on for sale. Being a popular tourist spot there were plenty of people talking in different languages and a lot of cool little handmade, farmer products to buy.
My battery unfortunately ran out on my GoPro, and I could not shoot the main photo spot inspired by Spirited Away. But what you see at the start of the video is just as good as the main spot.
This is great place to spend the day, you can relax and drink tea at a few tea houses, eat at some restaurants with the nice view (Be aware though, the food is a little Pricer than the food you can find in standard location in Taiwan.). If are also up for it, you can hike from the bottom of the mountain to the old town.
I stayed at a town close by called Keelung and i took a bus to spot just in the afternoon to check out the town. Although, you do not need to go to Keelung visit this spot there are also direct buses to can catch from Taipei City. In saying that, I also enjoyed my time in Keelung City as they had a pretty happening and tasty night markets.
Hope you can enjoy my first hand experience here in the old town, and I recommend this as a place to relax with friends at the local tea houses or even restaurants.
