    i have been ringing a bell at work and annoying my coworkers. i was gonna buy a new bell when they hid my bell but now i see that i need several. this guy has the right idea!

    One question, why do russians use carillions with ropes, they ring carillions in a different way on different countries.

      The bell is rung.
      It doesn't matter how.

      Not just Russians. Most of Orthodox bells rung on this way. Except of Romanians, Serbs, Cypriots and Macedonians, which mostly use swinging bells
