Andy had 10 years of rest for his voice whilst in Oasis, that's why it sounds awesome!
That's too funny, my first reaction to this song is that is sounds like Oasis but didn't know about that connection!
Some songs I love for the bass-line, some for the guitar riff, others I love the drums or even the vocal or lyrics, but this is one of those rare precious beauties where every single part on it is perfection and they can even play it to perfection live. Plus they wrote it when they were SO young. 👌

Ride reforming was a sort of fantasy of mine. I saw Mark doing his solo stuff with a backup band doing occasional Ride covers and I thought that was great, and it was; it's incredible what forgiveness and understanding can get you.

Brill! Saw them in Toronto last year, they sounded perfect, could not have played any of the tracks any better. Harmonies were bang on the money, the mix at Danforth Music Hall was really nice and even and both vocals came through nice and clear at similar volumes, terrific setlist. So many faves, Polar Bear, Chrome Waves, Time Machine, Decay, Paralyzed, hope they come back soon.

From a musician/fan point of view, I hate it when the song starts but the video producer wants to use the time just before the vocals start to show banners and site intro's. Please do that before. Then let us see the musicians play and create the music from the first note. Anywhere's...thanks for the sharing!

It's a great guitar actually but whatever effect and volume he had on it made it sound bad.
You know I really liked/like Ride always have, but frankly they were not really influential were they. They may have inspired musicians as thousands of bands before them and since but influenced anyone key - no. They certainly weren't the forerunners of anything although great exponents of their craft. God bless 'em I love this song but Ride are just Ride.
