It is. You know, I have a strong faible for mighty slow, a bit groovy death metal but there‘s not that much besides SFU and CC really. I went with Slam Metal for a while, but that didn’t bring it either in the longer run. Now I learned about Beatdown. Had heard the term before, but always stayed away because of the supposed punk/hardcore label… I desired REAL metal! Little did I know that THIS is maybe the closest subgenre to the metallic niche that I adore so much. It was a weird journey, along a circle, starting from Death Metal, ultimately ending up elsewhere, but also at Death Metal *head explodes*
