The audio is sub par. Other than that- its Art Blakey and one of the most classic Messenger lineups. What more is there to say?

They vote it down because they don’t understand the music. But there are people who don’t understand the music but they can feel the music. To much music of today is down and bland compared to the great music of the past. These guys are real American idol. Although even that is a bad description. Maybe they are more like musical geniuses.

perform at The Free Trade Hall, Manchester, U.K. in 1961,
Trumpeter at that time was Lee Morgan,
Thelonious Monk, was other half of this concert.
