The fact that this incredibly talented and original artist is able to draw a crowd big enough to fill Red Rocks alone really warms my heart. Gives me a very small amount of hope for humanity when it couldn't be more vital.
I think the part I love most about this performance is that absolute gratitude you can see he has just to be there in this moment. Immortalized for as long as mankind will have it. One of my favorite red rock performances
We got to open for you and Harley Poe at a bar in Boise, back in 2019, and I use the touring advice you gave me then to this day! I appreciate that day so much, and it's so cool seeing y'all play red rocks now, should've been a lot sooner!
@Amigo brother thie song, "different anymore" I can really relate to. My little sister committed suicide 12 years ago in the four corners area. We truly never get over the loss. The hardest part for me is that I am loosing the memory of her laugh! She would've been a huge fan of yours as she always liked the less mainstream artists, as do I. I want to thank you and the band for what you do out there. As ehfed up as it sounds you've helped me understand some of my emotions which is difficult at times for a man... Much love, BW
Congratulations man! I opened for you in Spokane Washington many years ago in a small bar with maybe 30 people, your performance in the small bar was something that has stayed with me all these years. During Hope Your Husband Dies you got up on the bar and walked around. One of the best acoustic shows I’ve ever been apart of. It’s amazing what you have done. Congratulations again! It’s inspiring for sure.
This is one of my favorite concerts I've ever been to. I was 4 rows up from the stage on the far left with bright purple hair. Thank you for the amazing time! 🫶🏻
You touch my soul more than any musician has before. Seeing you live years ago in Cleveland is still to this day the most amazing meaningful most fun show I have ever been to. So proud of how far you've grown. Love the full band ya got now. Keep it true to you. Forever your fan 🖤
Just saw and heard AtD for the first time last night at the Mariposa Folk Festival - a fantastic band and this guy is such a brilliant showman and storyteller! new fan here, and now I have been streaming all afternoon.
Saw you in Seattle in November and man, what a great show. Haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Good vibes, awesome venue, and a beautiful performance
Thank you for your sincerity I first found you on bridge city. Cocaine and able has been on my playlist ever since. That song means so much to me I feel like you read my soul. I am so thankful that your gaining in popularity because I believe every breathing thing can benefit from your songs. dark, funny, but so genuine, heartfelt, and beautiful.
'Cause I've always been scared of loving Someone just a little bit more than I'm loved That always makes me cry. The guy from 53:20 represents most of us
I feel so lucky I was able to catch a show in Seattle this year at the Moore, but Red Rocks? Wow! I hope to see y'all at show there or maybe at the Gorge. Amazing live performance!
My dream is to go to this venue! And seeing Sir Daniel here would be f'n awesome. He has a band now, I remember it was just him and how personal with the crowd he got. He is a wonderful performer!
It’s crazy, I saw him at a bar in Denver with maybe like 30 people. There was people being loud while buying pizza and he got on top of bar and was yelling funny shit. Then next time he played a sold out show at Hi-Dive. In all my time in music there are very few people that others had only good things to say about and Danny is one of them.
Have seen you three times now, dropkick murphys, clutch and dropkick murphys and again with just clutch. Great show always. Prefer just you on stage but it’s always great.
No love for Ohio, KY, or even MI? Columbus is just enough hillybilly AND emo for your shit man, and I'd love to see you. I mean, I get that there's this weird stigma about no one liking OH, but man, that IN gig is the CLOSEST at 3+ hours away!
@@mrgooberwell, at least now I caught the Seated link at the bottom of the tour dates. Next time he rolls within about a two hour drive of Columbus (Cleveland, Dayton, Toledo, or Cinci), I'll get a notification.
So many white people in the crowd lol! But seriously, this was an awesome set. Ever since I found Dahmer goes to Hollywood, I’ve been hooked on your music. Can’t wait to hear more
Just amazing, Danny. You and the band were incredible! Like all your live performances, could literally feel what you were feeling on stage. Total masterclass in storytelling!
I saw this live and that’s how i found you. I was there for trampled by turtles and left having found one of my new favorite bands. I’ll forever cherish that shirt i bought from the merch tent lol. Cant wait for the new album!!!
I love this man, I love this band, I love these songs and I love the fact that they were played at Red Rocks. Happy birthday Katacombs.See you again in Feb. I'll try really hard not to cry this time, no promises though.
I have seen so many bands at red rocks off of my own personal bucket list, seeing you there is absolutely on it. I am glad you got to check it off yours!
I seen you at Louder than Life and you always seem to give everything you got live…. huge fan and hope things just keep getting better for you brother… still waiting on the smoke bombs and splits
omg, the husband actually died?! It's 7am and I'm crying. That was my fave song, the song when the party hits daylight the next morning, me and my husband make all the guest sing along to. I feel so guilty. But still love it. It's just different now.
I’ve never felt such a deep connection to music and the artists playing it (besides the Avett Brothers)….Amigo the Devil, you are absolutely perfection in all the best authentic ways! I’ll be rewatching this until I can get to a show!
Thank you so much for posting this! This was one of the best experiences of my life. Between the view, traveling to Colorado for the first time, meeting our friend for the first time, and seeing my favorite band play in the coolest venue in the WORLD!
Thank you soooooo much for posting this set. I have been trying to see you live for years. And was dying to go and see you at Red Rocks. But money isn't cheap.😬 I hope you play here again. I'm ok with sloppy seconds
Amigo the devil is a pretty perfect fit in my brain which is a little scary cause nothing seems to fit perfectly in there anymore, or atleast not for a long time.

That's so rad! i wish i would have known about Amigo then, i totally would have gone!
My band opened for Harley Poe two weeks before they started touring with AtD and I was so sad I didn't get the twofer. Still the best night of my life
Nice man. I opened for Tejon Street Corner Theives right after I saw them with Harley Poe, and ATD. It was amazing
Cool story bro
Who Dis?
I'll dig up your back catalogue and put it on repeat..
For being such a devil he was a real sweetheart at the end. Bravo sir!

I feel like the keys really added to the sound. shout-out to Katacombs too
59:46 is the guy in green tshirt Chad Smith fro RHCP ?
You could have done Another Man's Grave.
When he says Happy Birthday during Hell and You, and it cuts to the audience, is that Chad Smith in the green shirt?
naw thats will ferrell
Fun fact: that’s Danny’s sister playing keyboard.
The mix needs more vocals but amazing performance
she saved your ass there 45.08

Amigo plays on Ohio quite often. Beechland Ballroom with Willi Carlisle is in my top 5 of shows I've ever been to.

Jason Mamoa's Wario has gotta be my favorite artist.
