I’m so glad the writers didn’t completely 180 Callum’s personality like most soap writers do. He knows Ben’s made mistakes but he’d never lie about this.
Callum is a good husband I think he would've believed Ben seeing how quickly he went to console him and wanted to kill Lewis. That confrontation with Ben and Lewis yesterday was really good both great actors.
I just hope that Ben and Callum splitting up doesn't mean Tony Clay gets axed from the show, as his brother is leaving, he will have no real reason to be in the Square (apart from granny and how long before she is axed?). Callum really did deserve better than Ben. Ben, at heart, is really into one-night stands, anonymous sex and lots of it, whereas Callum wants and needs stability and fidelity - I don't think it ever could have worked long term. I can only see them getting back together,, with Callum accepting an open marriage which I don't think would make him happy. He might agree to it, but I think it wouldn't last long. I just hope they don't pair Callum up with that horrible drag queen who was making eyes at him the other evening.
@@tedthepup641 No I don't think he will - when they split up at Xmas 2020, and since the breakup this May, Callum has never shown any interest in looking for somebody else - he is just "not like that" as he told Ben very early on. In a way, though, I think Ben and Callum would do better to split up because they are so different and want different things. It reminds me of Emmerdale's "Aaron and Jackson" story years ago, where Jackson came to grief - I just don't want that to happen to Callum. A genuinely nice character, as was Jackson 0 he just loved the wrong man. . Ben sometimes comes over as a bit contemptuous of Callum, as in this clip "I don't want you in my face", I know this is said in a moment of extreme angst, but Callum has had a lot of Ben's angsty moments.
@@alangiles2763 maybe a break but not a permanent break I mean speaking of emerdale look at Aaron and Robert they had a lot of ups and downs and went through a lot more but they kept finding their way back to each other, Robert helped Aaron through his sexual abuse as well different to Ben but there was still a trial and people finding out.
So the guy left out the part about picking the guy up, asking to go to a quiet place, and making out with the clear intent to get his freak on? Yeah, he said no, but he put up no fight.. had he not received a text from his husband, he would have happily gotten laid. 😕
I was sobbing so bad this ugh I can’t with Luis.😡 I want to quit watching this but I can’t because it’s kind of like a soap opera but it’s not just that goes on and very interesting and not stupid like soap operas except Luis . ❤️🩹❤️🩹😢😢

Ben & Callum are back together BUT the writers haven't addressed the issue of sex. That's a big problem with this show.
