Met both Pete Townsend and Rachel Fuller in Richmond some years ago and got chatting, they were great, Pete was chatting away as if we had met before!. Great idea, animals and pets are a big part of the lives of many, and having feelings as a result is a great thing. Wish I had seen this clip sooner.
Feel real empathy for Rachel. Living in the shadow of a musical genius. They both seem very happy together, but ultimately the interview focused on Pete more than Rachel, who was the initial, subject matter.
Love and blessings to Pete and Rachel. Her requiem for animals sounds wonderful. She's so right, grief is grief, whether for an animal or human. I lost one of my cats on 6.30.23 to an unexpected illness and I am still devastated. 💜💜💜

This is wonderful she is in a position to do good work and she does. Our family has a dog just 2 years and i miss her when I work. Wish it was on another Channel as Sky, in Australia, gives me the creeps as it's politically affiliated....in fact Rupert Murdoch does to.
Some of my best ever friends have been animals so I don't know what you are talking about. Dino was a massive South African Ridgeback and I got on like wildfire with him . One time when his owner had left him with a person I knew and was prone to mistreat the dog a bit. So this time he had trained him to sit down and be still and obey his master and do all things loyal doggies do. So when I walked into the room the dog is sat with him to heal but Dino wanted to come over to me for a bit of a cuddle. So the dog just leaned over to him and told him to do one in doggy language and came over to me lol.

I fully empathize because I know first hand.After 17 yrs our lovely Nina passed away on Jan. 9 last year.I know the pain,the grief.
