I have been in the same classroom, teaching 2nd grade, for 20 years. I'm with you. I know what configuration works best for my room. So my yearly challenge is how to keep things fresh from year to year. For example, my class library has been in the same spot for 20 years, but it's evolved over the years to something I think I'm finally going to keep....for a few years anyway! By the way, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your dragon!
I would’ve loved to join BLC but we got a new superintendent and now we have unit plans, learning targets, progressions, everything! Also, been watching since before I became a teacher, love your videos! ❤️

In the Primary and Grammar (a type of secondary school), schools that I studied in England, we had to have windows uncovered (including in the door), in normal times but then we also had covers that we had to put up for incase the 'intruder' / 'lockdown' time alarm went off and we were supposed to hide under the tables then as well. Your room looks lovely! I have been watching your videos since I did my GCSEs (mainly people are age 15/16 for first attempt), then through my A-levels (people mainly age 17/18 for first attempt), and now to the age of 21! Have a wonderful day. 'Choice' is such an important topic and decision making (a process which still causes me anxiety for some types of decisions), is such an important skill to learn.
As always I love your set up and your energy and thought process while doing it.

Hi, I love how organized you are. I have two questions for you. First, I’ve been teaching for 25 years and I’ve never heard of a MAG classroom. What exactly is it? Also, at approximately the 13 minute mark you held up some books while you were organizing your teacher area, I didn’t catch the name of the book, could you share the titles of,those books you seemed so,excit4d about? I’m always looking for new professional reading.
