- YAAACE attended the Ontario College Fair on October 16-17, 2024, held at the Enercare Centre where we were able to explore various colleges across Ontario as well as work opportunities with various industries and sectors such as the Canadian Armed Forces, @CanadianForcescanadiennes.
During our conversations with students, many shared that they often need more support and guidance for a smooth transition to post-secondary education. This insight drives our commitment to our Labour Market Intervention Strategy (LMIS), aimed at addressing systemic barriers and disparities faced by Black, equity-denied and justice-involved individuals in accessing and navigating educational and career opportunities.
Through LMIS, we are equipping our youth with the essential skills, aptitude, knowledge, and supports they need to thrive in both post-secondary education and the workforce.
