- Stunning landing at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. A special note about the aircraft (N927DA) was involved in a catastrophic engine failure on July 6th, 1996 at Pensacola Regional Airport that killed 2 and injured 2 when parts of the engine exploded into the cabin. The aircraft was repaired and put back into service and I got the chance to fly on it. Please comment rate and subscribe!

Great video! Love the MD88 and its engine sounds and the way it flies. I will miss them when they retire!!!

thanks
Nice! Steep Landing but a Good landing Nice Video! Im going to be departing Cleveland Hopkins in 5 days with US Airways to Philadelphia.
This video in 1080p is better than any of Jon5700's videos. 'Nuff said.
Great Video And the Delta MD-88s are one of my favorite jets too fly on not long in the future Delta will Retire these Aircrafts sad too say Airbus is Delta's next big purchase of Aircrafts.Great video.
Enjoy the flight!
Man. I think that's the most variations in engine sounds I've heard during a landing.
Cool video
Thank you!
N927 da had a left engine failure a blade sheared through the cabin n927da was repaired and it is still in service
I miss the Mad Dogs. It looks like you weren't far from where those people were killed.
I've flown 927 a few times.
Little bit of a high descent rate, nothing crazy for the mad dog
Soon it should be called "Lebron James international airport"
