@@UncleDanBand64 it helps me with presentation where I’m so used to looking for the front sight (standard height) as it’s coming up, it makes it that much easier to grab the dot for me.
In all honesty, there are all kinds of chinese companies that sell duty grade optics (IPX7 or better, 1500g's or better, 20k-50k battery life or better, with shake awake/auto off, in a 6061 housing) for $150-250, I've tested a bunch of them. This is a golden age of red dots.
@@thegundungeon Frankly a lot of the budget chinese dots are far more desirable than the big name ones, features and UI wise. Have a great time out there brother!

if you cant find the dot its because you have a bad grip. i really want this to work they just have major quality issues on there products. second is the price. even considering paying that much for a dot im just going with the trijicon HD. sorry its not even a question. they are way over there skies. i want American made and built yes. but not paying that much for American made trash..

Thanks for stopping by Derek!
@@PrimaryArmsOptics my pleasure, thanks for the interview!
I like the idea of regular height sights working with it.

@thegundungeon did they say it will be available for purchase for the general public after the pre-order?

Would I still be able to see the dot if I have suppressor height sights on the pistol?
@@character1hotel yeah the factory height sights sit about like a lower 1/3rd cowitness
What a nice looking optic, I like the side-mounted 2032 battery
