      I think it’s fair to say there’s a big asterisk on 40 year old Aaron Rodgers coming off a major injury as well. I still am not going to bet against him until I see his play decline on the field but it’s fair to say he needs to prove he is still a top QB

    I have a question that’s really bothering me🤦‍♂️. How come you put Arron Rodgers over Tua and proceed to put Drake may under tua? because Drake may is unproven (like you said) So if we are using the same logic Arron rodgers should also be ranked under Tua because he played 4 snaps last season. All I am saying is if your going to use the “unproven” logic then you should also use it on Arron.

    • @ultimatescouting
      @ultimatescouting  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I get that Aaron Rodgers is coming off an injury and needs to show he can stay healthy but saying the no doubt hall of famer is unproven seems a bit ridiculous

    • @lightgaming4907
      @lightgaming4907 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ultimatescouting So your (guessing) he might be the same 4 time MVP? That sounds even more ridiculous. Also he is 40 years old and hasn’t played a snap of football in 278 days. And if we are all being true to our selves Aaron Rodgers hasn’t played a good season since 2021 when they went 13-4 which has been 3 years since thats happened, and he gets older every single day. I just don’t see your logic here because it doesn’t make much sense that you think he’s going to somehow be a better version of himself from the last year he played with Green-bay (in which he struggled a lot in the 2022 season). I even forgot to mention that he hasn’t played a full game of football in 538 days. If that isn’t unproven then I literally do not know what is because this is the definition of “UNPROVEN” . Even the Rookie Quarterbacks have played more football since then!!! 🤦‍♂️. Also you haven’t even gave me one piece of evidence of why you think he’s going to be a good qb for next season. All you said is that he’s a hall of famer 🤦‍♂️. That doesn’t make a qb automatically good FYI. If you truly believe that then you are sadly mistaken.

    • @rashondemond
      @rashondemond 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If we are going strictly based on off season then yes the jets have the best O-line. The Patriots had a bad season last year but still had the best Offensive line out the division but they lost key pieces this coming season. A lot of these choices however which I won’t break all down are very flawed. I agree with some but not all and I’m a Jets fan. Jets should be # at these specific positions being RB, WR, OL, Edge, LB. D-line & Corner. That’s about it.c

      To an extent yeah, I get what you are saying but McDaniels scheme is very QB friendly, it’s a lot of putting his players in great situations to be successful. Credit to Tua for being able to execute the called plays but I think it’s fair to say his playmakers and scheme help him more than many of the other top QBs

    Rodgers is definetly better than Tua, tua is a below average Qb that gets carried by his weapons

  • @thatdolphinsrealtor
    @thatdolphinsrealtor 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Pretty good. I’ll tell you imo Tua is better than Rodgers. He was better than him when he was on GB and Tua has only gotten better. Rodgers is older and coming off a bad injury
    Also, Jonnu, Fortson, and Smythe is the best te room outside of the Bills. The capability of Jonnu and Jody in yac in the best field stretch in the nfl is scary. We had no intermediate threat last year
    I’d say without a shadow of a doubt that the Dolphins LB room is second. Weavers 3-4 base will ask them to gap shoot and blitz. They are both top tier speedsters
    Corner I’d argue the Dolphins are best. We destroyed the Jets secondary with ease
    That’s just my thoughts. Appreciate yours 🤙

    • @ultimatescouting
      @ultimatescouting  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Completely fair, some of those (especially LB) was super close for me so I totally get the argument. Tua has had a lot of production in McDaniels scheme and there’s a real argument that he could be better than a 40 year old Aaron Rodgers coming off a major injury, I just have a tough time writing off Rodgers until I see his play decline on the field. Corner I understand Ramsey and Fuller are an excellent duo and I also really like Kohou in the slot, I just also love what the jets have as well! Appreciate the discussion and for you sharing your thoughts!

    • @rashondemond
      @rashondemond 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s not true. Tua is not better than Rodgers never was. Tua is a highly accurate short throw passer with above average deep ball skills mainly due to his lack of arm talent. He’s not a scrub he can play but Tua is more so a middle pack QB who is highly accurate & makes very few mistakes

    • @thatdolphinsrealtor
      @thatdolphinsrealtor 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rashondemond well factually Tua has been better than Rodgers in his last season with the Packers. And being that 2023 Tua was a whole lot better than 2022 Rodgers, and that Rodgers is older and declining while Tua is young and improving… I’d have to say it’s Tua
      Beyond just that, Tua has never had a well rounded team around him. Last year he led the league in passing without an inside run, intermediate threat, big body contested catcher, or checkdown. All while having the 45th time to throw behind the 31st ranked line in pass blocking win rate
      So based on my analysis, and I’m not perfect by any means, I’d say Tua is actually something really special

    • @rashondemond
      @rashondemond 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thatdolphinsrealtor you are pointing out Rodgers last season which is fair enough but Rodgers played 4 snaps this previous year before tearing his Achilles so evidence has to be pulled out going on almost 3 years ago. Even though Rodgers has been in the league by far longer Tua hasn’t done anything close to Rodgers peak. Actually since you brought it up Compare Rodgers last season in GB & Tua that same year. Not only did Rodgers perform better in the major categories with less because remember D. Adams was gone, he threw for more TDs, slightly more yardage and barely more ints. With by far less talent. Tua had a higher rating mostly because of short yardage throws with high percentage completions. Tua only missed 3 or 4 games in 2022 I believe. Look on how the Dolphins are built, it’s speedy receivers who can take a 5 yard screen/slant to the house in Hill & Waddle or speedy backs who can take a screen to the house. All of those are high completion throws. You seen him the playoff game when KC locked Hill down? He couldn’t get anything going

    • @rashondemond
      @rashondemond 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thatdolphinsrealtor also I disagree on the run game. Look at the double speed backs he’s had and how they were running all over teams on the outside due to pure speed. He’s always had a offense especially once Hill got there. Miami had the most explosive offense in the league last year just from pure speed. They surely improved on defense. Came playoff time it didn’t work out. Also thag time to throw stat you just pointed out is flawed to a degree. You have to judge it based off offensive scheme. Miami is a version of the Shanahan which are high percentage completions also which again speed factors into why they are always at the time for YAC. When defenses take that away from Tua he’s awful

    Josh Allen is possibly the most overrated QB. He’s lead the league in INTs the last two seasons, his completion % is and yards are middle of the pack. He’s .500 in the playoffs and he’s 1-4 against Maholmes. His rush TDs are padded bc his entire running back room combined for 6 TDs bc hes a sneak merchant. What has he actually done to be considered top 3?
