- In late 1990 at FIA ceremony, Honda thanks Senna for the successful year and promises to give him the best engine for the next year. Senna was heavily criticized by FIA boss as well as by the press. Honda's simple but sincere words were good and touching for a lonely heart, Senna.

Senna was clearly almost in tears as he was moving away from Soichiro.

He dedicated the Hungarian GP in memory of Soichiro Honda, too.

i know the story that Sena was crying and could not eat dinner after his short conversation with Mr. Honda Cuz he is so happy and is impressed. Sena love Honda and Honda love Sena. This is epic film two biggest contributed persons for racing world are together and hugging.

Today it's the 25th anniversary of Soichiro Honda's passing. Still getting goosebumps watching that one. The kind man meeting my biggest hero - both with the ultimate racing spirit in their blood. A moment for eternity.

Hahaha that's right. He was one of many reasons I interested to sign up to mechanical engineering dept (Although now I joint oilfield, not automotive world :-D)
I was always tempted to have Honda CR-V as my first car, but lack of diesel options and 4x4 for an SUV,... it's a disaster (in my opinion though). But I still have descendant of Honda Super Cub motor cycle, Honda Soichiro's master piece.

thats not quite right. Honda's first own Diesel (N22A)was launched in 2003, and became instant Engine of the Year. 140hp and 340NM with Euro4 homolagtion. Believe me, back then this Engine in the new Civic and new Accord was a freakin MISSILE!
