The key is to get a shot with a good solid background (ie the blue sky in this video) because the higher contrast makes it easier for Twixtor to generate the new frames. If you don't have a solid background between the subject or lots of movement in the frame then it gets more difficult. Try upping the contrast or sharpness before applying the effect and it should help a bit. Higher resolution=better results. Less camera motion helps a lot too!
